Absu is from Dallas, Texas and have been around since the mid-early 90s doing the exact same thing. BlackBraid is amazing as well but just goes to show that underground is truly the way to go sometimes. Absu are legendary!

@@losxdescabezados Black Metal bands I was talking about though. Not American metal in general. I've heard quite a few American and Canadian black metal bands and I have to say. Out of the ones i've heard over the years, I like Blackbraid the best. Maybe it's because their latest album sounds so polished. Maybe too polished for some BM fans. I get it.

@@maladykiller Absu sounds alright. Not necessarily my cup of tea though. There is another American BM band I kinda like called "Inquisition" from Seattle. They're a 2 man band that sounds as good as any 3 or 4 man band out there. They're originally from Columbia though. So not sure if they should be considered north american.

I love Blackbraid's music,lyrics,all of it.I live in the Appalachian Mountains and talk to multiple families of Sasquatch.I played one family some of Blackbraid's music,explaining what the lyrics were about to them as well and they didn't throw rocks at me,which means it gets a "thumbs up",lol.But seriously,that happened.
