It was love at first bar for this truly glorious slice of Gothic Symphonic Metal. This is a band that has achieved the difficult distinction of being DISTINCTIVE - after a few bars, you know it's them - in large part due to Zora Cock's unique "lost child" voice. It's a major coup for Nuclear Blast to sign them. I love everything about this tune. For a start, the production is magnificent - a wonderful listening experience with decent headphones. The hook, the melody, the arrangements, the feeling of it, the chorus, all marvellous. It's an instant gig favourite, and a total must-own. My Score: Excellent 5*

I had to hear this song three time's before I started to fully appreciate it. It's a great track and I really like it, but every song Blackbriar has done up until now has been great so I needed a couple of listens to really take it in. Blackbriar by far are my favorite band out there these day's. I love Zora and the band. I hope we see a full length album soon. Until then, this is a great song! Thanks!

I never heard about this band before but it showed up on my front page and the thumbnail looked interesting so I checked it out, and boy what a surprise. I loved it and it made an impact on me I did not expect. I have had a huge urge for the last years for the alternative livestyle. Like gothic fashion, I'm just drawn but have never known how to embrace it. I started experimenting with gothic clothes half a year ago. So hearing this music and seeing her amazing style (clothes, hair etc). It really helped me visualize some of my emotions. It also made me more confident in how I dress and beeing my self when most "normal looking" people look down on me for beeing different.

Check out their other stuff too - their general sound is "imagine if a young Kate Bush replaced Amy Lee in Evanescence". I'd Rather Burn and Arms of the Ocean are masterpieces. They generally have supernatural themed dress, not specifically (modern) gothic.

Brilliant song, I love it. Nuclear Blast are a great label with some unbelievable bands on their books, they've another gem here with Blackbriar so huge congrats. Blackbriar are brilliant, I love Ready To Kill (Zora's screams are cute and wonderful), and Beautiful Delirium, as well as many others, Zora is totally beautiful, quirky, and her voice is just gorgeous and mesmerising, I could listen to her voice all day long. Also I discovered another great band because of Blackbriar with Snow White and Rose Red, featuring Ulli from Snow White Blood, they are great with another beautiful and brilliant vocalist. Did I mention that Zora is incredibly beautiful?! 😊😍
