I know the story is that they are being constantly reincarnated and finding each other within each life as they are tied together by love and fate, but to me, I interpret the video at least as an immortal falling in love with a woman (first life) but they are separated and just when he decides to go after her anyway, she dies, and since then he's been searching for her in every reincarnation up to the present, having to watch her die one way or another each life because he just can't let her go. Because we see in the present-day version of the guy, he still has the necklace he gave to her in her original life that he held standing over her grave, and while it could be a reincarnation, he could be wandering through the forest looking for the place where he found his original love's body to reminisce. Of course I could just be overanalyzing things, so either way, great video, great song, I just loved everything!

This is honestly in my top 5 favorite songs. Across any genre. First heard it two years ago while recovering in the hospital from a life-saving heart surgery, plus complications that made me have to learn how to walk again. "Death is weak and we are strong" became my rallying cry for my healing. Doesn't hurt I'm a romantic at heart. Listened to this song hundreds of times since. Thank you so much.

As a child I had recurring dreams, of another life, they felt so real I was adamant they were memories. My catholic family was so freaked out they felt the need to medicate me. I truly thought I was crazy, till I met a young man in high-school that shared the same oddly weird dreams. his "memory dreams" as he called them matched my own. After years of sharing our dreams, we realized they were memories. We've been married for 12yrs this year, together "officially" for 15 yrs, for the realm of our souls who knows. This song speaks volumes words cannot express for the love we have for each other. IF we ever have a "traditional" wedding as my folks say to renew our vows to each other, my only request is this song be played.

This video is a work of art. All the costumes are very intricate and well put together. The photography is breathtaking. The scene with the black horses and the tobacco smoke whirling out of the robbers mouth. It is visual poetry. And of course her bright hair against the backdrop of the woods. A few days (and several hundred replays) after that, I shared it with my boyfriend, saying how it reminded me of us. Jessica, Your words encourage me. I am sorry for your loss. Dreams are a language of the soul. The soul that travels to other realities while we sleep. We pass it off as a dream. Just a dream. But it may be more real than we know. I have been taught that when we dream of someone who has passed from us that it means they are happy and in a good place waiting perhaps for us. Just a thought. Not everyone believes that I know so well. And that is OK. No one is forced to believe in anything spoken by others. Your heart will know the truth.

I've always wondered what I might have been like in a previous life. Just thinking about it I get this feeling in my chest that motivates me in a way. I don't understand it. Even when I was a child I felt like I was so much more than just flesh and bone, an entity within, a spirit inside me. I could feel it. It's so weird because i'm not religious but it's something i've always felt strongly about for as long as I can remember. Songs like these are unique and I love them very much!

I have made a few comments on this video, but can we like take a moment to notice (I believe it is Zora Cock) that someone from the band is replying and thanking those who like the song and the band in general, even after 3 years of this video being published. I have never seen a band on KZbin reply to their own comments as much as BlackBriar does, most bands just upload their songs and then forget it exists on KZbin much like the fans in the comments; but Blackbriar does such an amazing job on replying to fans even after 3 years. P.s. Zora Cock is the lead singer if no one knew P.s.s. You are amazingly beautiful Zora, both in I rather burn, Until Eternity, and Ready to kill. You look amazing in the Victorian themed outfits. Your vocals are great and so are the lyrics. I just love this band and I’ve only known about y’all for 5 days. This is all in the hopes the band sees my comment too, knowing they replied to fans like 2 weeks ago. Edit: I forgot about Preserved Roses Lyric video, you look amazing in that too.

Guys, you're awesome! You have a distinct sound with mysterious progressions and hints of rock, while pointing out the innocent side of the gothic subculture. Your videos are characterized by top cinematic quality successfully adapted to the atmosphere of your sound and subjects that are instantly connected to the gothic element. Zora, you're a gifted vocalist with own unique style. Your freshness governs an interpretation that lingers somewhere between rock and Celtic/Nordic folk. Your lyrics can only be described as a piece of optimum, refined literature which shows your inner wealth, academic level and knowledge📚 You're doing a great job providing this world with such qualitative artistic material, while the art field is currently going through a crisis.

This song really is beautiful. Hearing the lyrics and what this song is about reminds me of the person I love the most. Long story short I have seen this one girl (Ghost) in my dreams for around five years now and seeing her has shown me a feeling of love I had never felt before. I have always felt like I was born in the wrong time and it makes me wonder if the person I keep seeing and feel so much love for was someone I knew before. So much so I even started writing a book where she is the main character and she sees me in her dreams. I thought I would put this here just because I sort of relate to this song in a weird way. Not sure that anyone will read it but yeah! Great song, amazing music!

Fellow feelings, good sir. I lost my wife to cancer nine years ago and still look forward to the day we will dance together again. She was wise and had me promise that I would not hasten the day that that meeting comes and also that I would not spend the time granted to me only in grief. That is much harder than most realise for, though he was true with his words that it was better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, Tennyson did not speak to the 'black days' that will come. In the week just gone, I was ambushed yet again by the despair of losing she who was meant to be at my side for all my years - but those tears, painful as they may be are also healing. So when yours come, find a place where you can be comfortable with letting them flow. And, if you can, find someone with whom you can speak of your loss, someone who knows you and will understand that, even if you are not making sense to them, you need to talk about what is inside you. That is a very precious thing and so vital for your ability to carry on. To be bereaved and to be in the company of those who have no notion of what that means is hard; you need an outlet or you will break. For me, a memory I shall take to my own grave is two friends of mine coming to find me when, at a social gathering about a year after I lost my wife, I had walked off without a word into the rain and the dark and was standing staring across a field at nothing. God knows how long they were searching before they found me but the very fact that they did was what was needed to break the dam I had been building all night to fend away the daggers of all those folk having a 'good time' when my world had ended. I sobbed my heart out as they hugged me and that forged what had been a strong bond of friendship into one that nothing could shatter. Though of course COVID has kept us apart for too long now :(. So, to put it in briefer terms, don't hold within what you need to let out or what is born of love will turn into poison and take you early. Your lady is waiting but time for those on the other side of the Veil is not like it is for we still sheathed in mortal form. So make the most of the time you have here and, on those days when you get that shiver down your spine when it is warm, know that she is checking in on you.
