I was there as A Saints fan. We got through to the semi finals that season, losing to Everton 1-0 after extra time at Highbury - that was when the semi's weren't staged at Wembley. Southampton also finished 2nd to Liverpool in the Leaugue. A very exciting season for the Saints.
