So glad that you showed the proper way to tune one of these up. 15 watts of dead key output. Then it swings way up to 150 with modulation. That’s the way to tune a BlackCat and that’s why they are so incredibly loud! People on the receiving end can watch their S meter swinging like nothing else! Thanks Doc.

When i was a kid an old guy in a nursing home got bit by a Palomar Skipper 300. I don't remember his name, that was like 50 years ago. He had the top off and touched the HV by accident. It didn't kill him, but it scared him so bad, he said "I'm not touching it again, come get it for $75" I said OK, Done!
