The Emperor can be viewed as tyrant, savior, hero, villain, god, or just a man with god like powers and a different point of view. To me he is a flawed man but truly represented humanity because even though we are capable of being monsters in our own right, we also capable of so much more when we are united. Also for my personal headcanon for the star child, for better context watch “Psychic screams for ice cream” by Vox To Nowhere. In one of his many names and personas he was once called Judas Iscariot, who at the time tried to live his life he thought was right until he heard a call. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And for the first time in his life, he met someone like him, someone who would be his equal if given time. But was plague by a vision of betraying him and seeing him on the cross. On the day of betrayal, face to face in the crowd, Jesus said “I'm ready” signaling ‘Judas’ to kiss on the cheek for the guards to seize him. After the crucifixion and resurrection, ‘Judas’ waited for him before faking his death as ‘Judas Iscariot’. When Jesus finally enter the room, unlike the rest of the apostles he didn't beg but simple ask, “come with me and we will finally realize our dream” extending his hand. Jesus on the other hand smiled and said, “you blind fool, we may have the same goal but we have different dreams for all humanity. My son, my friend, my brother thank you for hearing my call and joining my side as my apostle with the given time that we had, but you and I both know fully well that this has to happen. I know you want me by your side physically, here among the living, but for humanity to move forward this has to happen”. And for the first time in ‘Judas’ life he shed a tear unlike his fake crying and wailing to others after the crucifixion. “We will always be together” Jesus touching his chest,”I will be the light within you, a star for people to follow but also a reminder for you to never forget to love, hope, and have faith for others”. “You and I both know I'm not exactly empathetic leader” ‘Judas’ said. “Even if I'm buried deep in your heart, heavily ignored, or forcibly removed, I will always be by your side” Jesus said while glowing all white. “Thank you” said ‘Judas’, “hahah, uh, I love you,too” said Jesus. The flash of light passed and both became one, becoming who they are meant to be for humanity and for ‘Judas’ to move forward and live. Long story short: Jesus became the Emporer conscience and empathy, though is buried deep within his psyche behind cold science and logic, he still felt it until he needed to remove it to fight Horus and his sons. The Emporer is a flawed person, while its understandable that religion is somewhat flawed too, having dangerous results, because of people or monsters who abuse it for selfish needs but it is more than that. It brings people together, unites us, and with good leaders to guide us, might even lead us a better tomorrow if we have faith with each other. And with that The Emperor Protects and We Protect Him in Return

@@blackcellaudiotrue he was many important figures in history but I'm sure some of them existed and maybe big E was there in person or behind the scenes helping however he can during the times. It just that Jesus was a really big religious figure and was Hebrew. I just can't see him involved with religion groups or organization unless it to tear them down because, even in those times, religion during that time practiced some stuff and belief that would be frown upon today. Which is why I think it cool that Jesus existed and Big E was there beside him helping only he knows how. Probably debating like in the last church but Jesus was Big E toughest challenge. I think a great example of what their relationship would look like is Odyssey and Polites in “Open Arms” musical EPIC

The realms of Choas rule over a large part of the warp, but not all of it. The warp is endless.
