As a lifelong Black Californian I’ve seen people leave only to come back a few years later. When you’re from here, it can be very difficult to deal with the climates and culture of other places. California is expensive for a REASON. We have beautiful topography, weather, always lots to do, very fresh produce (since most of it is from here in the state), and literally one whole side of the state is coastline, which means we also have hundreds of beaches. We have all the best theme parks and world renowned destinations from Napa Valley to Silicon Valley to Hollywood and everything in between. A lot of Black Californians realize after living in places like Atlanta or Houston that those places are great for weekend visits or to party, but not really great places to live. The fruit don’t taste the same other places and the vibe is just unmatched. Most of the Black people I grew up with still live here and the reality is Cali is not becoming less Black, it’s just that the Black population is more decentralized instead of just living in Oakland or South Central. Now we’re all over the state including in the desert. Most of the Black people that chose to not sell their homes or their parents homes are doing just fine. I know several Black people either buying or recently bought homes out here; most of us ain’t EVER leaving! 😎🌴☀️🌊

What folks don't seem to understand is the hood is the hood, period. That's why Quik made that song "Jus Lyke Compton" all them years ago. They're trying to make Cali look bad right now in particular because of the whole "defund the police" and legislation passing on not giving big sentences for smaller offenses and the youngsters are playing right into their hands. Making it look like a bad destination for traveling and/or moving here to hurt the economy and make Cali's governing body play by their rules. Trust, people are being robbed/killed in all the other major cities in the nation that have sides of town with a lot of low income residences regularly as well but there's a POINT to report on Cali like it's a war zone right now.

We have to stop fooling Ourselves that We can move to a “better area “ and find peace and happiness. it has always been either We stay divided or minimally organized and accept the current anti-Black paradigm and suffer the ramifications of that, or We adequately organize and unite and make major progress, but get beat down, killed, lied on as a result, and have everything taken away. We are in a no win situation here. florida is trying to abolish the teaching of accurate Black history and doing other dastardly things. miami is expensive. atlanta is expensive and isn’t georgia the home of a granite mountain where confederate icons are carved out(stone mountain)? do We even need to talk about texas? austin is not cheap and what about their power grid issues and environment? texas has always been a white supremacy bastion. and yes california tries to be slick and covert with their racism, but it gets blatant out here too. I’m sure you’ve heard about the reparations effort. there is no safe haven for Black ppl in this joint. please mention that when you make these type videos. Black ppl have been misled about things for centuries, which has resulted in much suffering. We should make sure We are not a source of that, try to break vicious cycles and stop trying to reinvent the wheel every generation. peace and love

It's sad bm won't go to the Supreme Court or the world Court. Why the only time the bm ever fought in court was for interracial access? 3 whole cases filed fresh off the plantation 🤔. Has he lost his fight in him since they won that? Is that all the bm really care about? I ask cause scripture already states they'll be less bm.

@@KFontLab The house may be cheaper in Texas, but the property tax percentage is lower in California. The property tax payment may be less in Texas, but if the home prices were the same, you'd be paying a lot less in California. Also, keep in mind, Texas re-evaluates the home values every year which increases the property tax price annually, whereas California only re-calculates it if you're selling your home or doing major renovations. So, the property tax burden lowers the longer you keep your home in Cali.
