As an ADC main I keep hearing people say "kraken Slayer isn't good anymore since it doesn't do crit" but that's not true. In raw DPS, the passive allows it to out perform single crit items on champs that have attack speed steroids like Jinx, Kai'sa, or Xayah. It's more specialized now, but is by far not a bad item on the champs that can use it well just because it doesn't have crit anymore.

You're willingly opting to play a champion whose best item - assuming you're right (I personally have no fucking clue cuz the season has just started and we dont have any very useful stats) - elects to not build one of, if not the strongest item in the game atm, IE. In terms of relative strength Kraken just isn't as good as it was last season. Sure a few champions might like building it, but then those champions are still just going to be worse than other champions that just build IE. But it's still early days plenty of time for IE to get nerfed

Could be good tbh. I havent had a chance to test the setup on any champ yet so idk how strong it is. But i definitely think it has potential especially vs matchups you can consistently proc it (which is almost all with W E on the wave)

Honest question, when you’re a challenger player, aren’t you able to make any champ look good when playing against Lower elo players? Like I am amazed at how well you’re able to CS and trade with him, but Im also unsure if this is in part because the Hwei doesn’t know how to position properly and the fact that you’re simply just a better player than he is

Hmm. Unless the champion is very unique in style and goes against the type of styles that I'm good at playing, then i'll be able to perform well against lower elo players. But I notoriously struggle with playing Draven and Katarina even in plat elo. Yeah this Hwei wasn't really playing very well, but I think this is also one of the benefits of playing Brand mid. He is a VERY simple champion, so it's easier to focus on actually playing the game instead of your champion. AND, people don't really know how brand mid works so you'll often find advantages due to that aswell

I bought Liandrys 2nd what are we saying. Also you need both items anyway, and buying blackfire torch 2nd feels like cock and ball torture so might aswell get it first because it's good for lane

@@Sjorry I wasn’t talking about your video I was talking from my experience with the item, and I agree after lane the item stats are kinda useless which is my dilemma with it, why would I rush it over lyandrys if lyandrys out damages it and brand isn’t really a mana hungry champ? I guess it’s the fact I will have two burn items at relative good time frames of the game? Where if I went lyandrys first I probably am not buying torch at all? That’s only justifiable thing I see about it, but then why not rush lyandrys and just replace torch for like a void staff or something .

@@mrorganic13 You can definitely get away with skipping torch if you prefer. Then your build would be Liandrys, rylais, cryptbloom/oblivion orb. Personally I just feel like torch makes you a lot stronger in lane and gives you CDR which is nice. Liandrys is stronger as a flat damage item just looking at the burn.
