Fun fact: you can ult minions as Brand. This means that if a weak enemy is staying too far back but still close enough to the Hogwarts Midgets you can ult a minion to bounce it on the enemy champ. Brand's I'll prioritizes event champions and priorities new targets so after clearing the front line minions, you can bounce the ult from the mages to the champ.

Always fun to see Pekin playing my favorites. Zombie brand for life. One thing I noticed for better wave clear when you didn't need to hold q. Hit a minion with q first give it two seconds, then e to spread blaze give it two seconds then w to get the bonus damage on the blaze.

Still remember trying to get back into league again a few months ago and ending up with mid so I chose Brand and my team literally did not stop flaming me for picking him because "brand is a support champ you noob". I almost carried them, too, but one of the flamers was a Yasuo and started every conflict via kamikaze by throwing himself into the enemy team 1v5, using ult and then dying. And because one of my only peelers was always dead by the time I could get a rotation off, I'd get perma focused and die and then yasuo - already dead, mind you - would start up again "seriously brand is such a bad pick" 🤨

I recommend Maxing E as Brand mid since thats where your main damage is coming from in the lane, I'd also recommend a slightly different runepage with sinpiration secondary

Is it? I always max E last because you get the full utility of it being able to spread the burn after investing just one level, whereas W (and to a lesser extent Q) are spells that don't offer much utility in and of themselves unless they're doing big chunks of damage. Also W is built in such a way that its supposed to encourage you to set enemies on fire, cc them, then use W for 25% more damage or something. You waste all of that if you max E first and I don't see what you really gain from it

It was a normal base, I have Milio shielding me so my base won't get interrupted, but then the enemy REALLY wanted to stop my base for some reason at the exact timing Diana was there, so they died. I have no idea what Sona was thinking playing so aggro

the reason brand wont be weak is simply that his passive triggers item effects if they would remove that, his dmg would die down really fast

Sona r + yone r is a very good combo and the only engage your team has was the diana and i guess the aphelios(dude was so behind that a good initation is the best thing he can do imo). actually i was thinking that you were going to lose due a bad tf on baron xd. Yes. Her ult also stuns if you use it against water or bush, doesn't have to be against a wall.

@@PekinWoof : Yeah, but clearly there's something that is giving him that high of a win ratio across like every Elo. His CDs feel very long to me, but besides that he seems super strong. He used to be my favorite Champion back in S2 and for my 1000th win I got to play with his designer Coronach. Fun times. Oh, and I helped Gunisoo get his first penta while playing Brand. Classic memories!

He definitely isnt OP, very basic kit, all his abilities have cast and travel time and he has to stand still to cast them. Only CC is a single target skillshot which roots him. If he is left unattended to spam all his skills then his damage potential is crazy, but has way too many counters to be OP

In this season, if the buff had spawned post 20 minutes then it gives its buff to the whole living team who killed it. But it no longer transfers between champions on kill. That’s what happened here (so Viego securing the red buff was good for him as he still buffed his team despite dying straight after)

Brand E is the major reason he's so strong. Yeah, his ult is insanely brain dead too, but E is point and click, provides wave clear/mregen, low mana cost compared to W, and has a super uninteractive range on a Blazed target. He can stay in lane forever due to his lack of mana issues, so he can safely chip you with E or a stray W, and control mid prio. Brand jungle is imbalanced solely because of the monster damage on passive, so it's almost strictly a lane problem. The radius of E needs to be reduced on Blazed targets, or the damage should be gutted. They should also at least attempt to balance his lack of mana problems. Yeah, Brand support is obnoxious and should 100% not benefit from any mana adjustments, but lane and jungle Brand don't even need mana support in items or runes, and never run out of mana. Not to mention his passive burn should never apply Rylais or even Liandry's since it's not a "damaging ability." Teemo E doesn't even apply it, so why should Brand passive? The 3 stacks of Blaze? Sure. Just the passive burn? Hell no.
