Nice video. I would try to improve your lighting on your videos. Their darkness / dim lights have the effect of an Afghan hostage video! LOL. I do enjoy you tips on leather work, thanks for putting those out there. They do help me as I am just starting.

Great idea! I turned mine on a lathe so as it was zipping around I put the paper to it and got it right smooth! Keep em coming!

I take mine up to 600 grit. Works way better. But shortly I plan on turning a few of my own on the lathe. Once I fix the electricity in the shop. Lol Maybe I should take mine up in grit... I'm kind of obsessive about my drive punches so I have paper up to 10k grit kicking around...

If the slicker is too smooth with 3000 paper, its hard to get the burnishing... 400-1000 is very much more than enough. More smooth means less friction... Right?
