I can tell you BFM, those were such funny jinx's that had me laughing... My favorite jinx that you made was the Tyler Reddick and Chase Briscoe one. Those two were funny af. I watched the clash part unfortunately which was the biggest part of the race, but I enjoyed the race even my favorite driver Austin Dillon made it into the top 5 right there, not a bad run for the 3 team. A top 5 run is pretty much good whenever you have a decent car. Anyways that was honestly such a good video, keep up the good work. And welcome to the new era of NASCAR, Next Gen baby!

Very fun. I think Nascar did a brilliant job organising this, especially with the stars (big up Ice Cube!) and the advertising (mainly showing drama and action, not just big crashes). If Daytona is a good race and the package isn't dogshit, this could be the start of a great era for Nascar. And remember, if the Coliseum worked Nascar would consider races in London, NY, Japan etc.

Best race I've seen in a long time. I'm a fan since the late 90s that had kinda fallen out of love with the sport in the gen 6 era since the racing got worse (even COT racing was better the cars were just ugly) and the big personalities (Smoke, Rusty, Robbie Gordon, Jeff Gordon, Dale Sr/Jr) left too. But I feel the love again after this weekend. We need points paying 1/4 mile tracks in nascar tbh or at least 3/8 mile. Should be 3 or 4 of these tracks with some character instead of cookie cutters. We need more people like Blaney going after each other. Also realized I don't mind stage racing if there's a halftime show. That's this weekend taught me. This is entertainment. This is what this sport is.

@chelseawolfe52892 жыл бұрын
I'm addition to being solid concrete the inside wall was made of jersey barriers rather than a permanent wall so when he hit it they shifted leaving a harsh edge at the junction between the two segments. It even broke the concrete so I don't see that wreck as an indication of a big problem with the cars. I did see one wreck into the outside wall that didn't look too bad but they towed the car off which had me concerned, but I also saw a ton of harsh aggressive racing, lots of rubbing the outside wall, and no cut tires from fender damage. Ryan Blaney tagged it pretty decently and had either a cut tire or suspension damage but I'm hopeful that these new cars can take more of a beating than the old ones

The very first stadium racing was shown in NASCAR chase for the cup 2005. We'll need to wait until the third year to know if this is actually a success. Next year will probably see a decrease in attendance and TV ratings because the novelty factor will have worn off. If viewership stabilizes in the third year and the numbers are still respectable, I'll call this a success. If the interest falls off from year to year, then this was just a one-shot experiment. Until we see the results from the third year, I'm going to be skeptical this is a sustainable event.

I feel really bad for anyone who didn't know about the heat races paying full price for what seemed to be one hour of racing. Then again it's not like NASCAR wasn't advertising the format. I think back to a lot of short track races I've been to and it's weird how few people only show up for the feature and don't bother to watch the heat races. Unless it's something like the Thompson 300 (to shout out my favorite event from the 2021 season) you miss most of the racing action if you don't watch the heat/consolation races. I guess it's possible most casual NASCAR fans or first-timers just don't understand the concept. Maybe NASCAR did have a blind spot in that regard relying on the "old school" mystique of heat races rather that really hyping them up. I certainly knew I had to watch the heat races and was really mad when I found out my DVR didn't record them. Thankfully this thing called "fubo" did. Anyway, something to fix for next year. Or maybe just make the feature 200 laps. That's only another 10-15 minutes at those speeds, I could have watched that.
