This is just as amazing as you and Nate always have delivered! A really powerful message embedded in the song gives it that extra touch that always gives you the feels. I love the subtle changes in tones between the high gaps, it surely does what it was intended to do (I hope). As for the instrumental, it starts of just the right way, with a slow push forwards that quickly ascends into something beautiful, like it wraps itself into a chrysalis and later explodes into a beautiful butterfly along with the amazing vocals. I really like the idea of having a song that is more close to heart and about how life can not always be perfect, and you certainly pulled the theme off remarkably well. I can see a lot of myself in this lyrics after having listened to it for, like, the 4th time already. UwU I relish the fact that you feel good about releasing originals again, because I must say I missed it a lot. DDR: Seeing this released when I got home really brightened up my Friday, especially given the theme of the song, and how dull my day had been until this point. (Thank you for that.

This is such a good song. My mom just lost her job today because she had a back injury and couldn't work. (Right before christmas I might add) She was very disappointed and told me that she was tired of trying to do anything because after being divorced, abandoned, dumped then fired things were getting a little ruff. I feel the same way with this song. I, too, have gone through quite a bit of hardship in recent times, and songs like this are very encouraging in difficult times. I said a prayer for you and your mom; I know how hard it can be when you’ve lost a lot and it feels like just one thing after another. hello Gryph, I am an animator (no professional one, just a hobbyist) and was wondering if I could make an animation to your song, "WHO YOU ARE". The message the song delivers is great (your talent is amazing btw) and I was wondering if I could use it as the audio to the animation. Of course, credit will be given in the video and description. thankyou. EDIT: these past few months haven't been going so smoothly as i thought they would. I'm also not too experienced with animation so I need to work on that first as well (so that I can deliver a better result) However, I will try to live up to what I said and perhaps eventually make an animation or animatic, seeing that I set really unrealistic standards for a single person. HOWEVER. I relate to this song even more, seeing that I'm trying to overcome my hardships. so I'll try my best!
