I have a few of the Blackhawk Riggers belt. They work great with 511 Tactile pants, and offer the enhanced ability to tie off you spoke about. There are a lot of little things like this that we find but slip by and don't get passed on. Thanks for taking the time to share.

tubular webbing is also a perfect sized sheath for a bow saw blade. so you can pack it into the bush without damaging your gear or your hands. I use a strip of gorilla tape to cover the sharp teeth on the saw blade and it will slip into the tubular webbing, then stick it in your belt or pack straps. fool proof. melt one end closed and melt the other end open so it/s like a sock for your bow saw blade, and if you need to check out Corporals corner for his improved bow saw video, using two key ring loops and a stick to make a bow saw in the field,

I have a nylon pouch in my bunker gear with 15' of tubular webbing. We are taught to make a "Hasty Harness" with it to bail out of a structure when we're two or more stories up. We also use it to carry people out of places in various ways. Some great gear you have in this video! Been a subscriber for quite a while now & never saw this one. I LOL @ the J-2 showing! I have one of those G.I. packs too and will throw my rifle's and shotguns in it if I ever have to B-O. I keep a backpack full of ammo as well and another for all my pistols.

The maxi pads can also be used as tinder to start fires. Try it with the fire steel rod, quite impressive. Since you mentioned you have 50 of those things laying around, perhaps you could add maxi pads to your fire starting kits, if you like this idea. Triple purpose, for aunt flow, wounds, and starting fires....

15:17 Tip on your riggers belt mate. If you make sure to put your jeans belt loop under the velcro loop or actually beyond it, completely under the buckle you find that you'll be able to slide your belt further to your left. Also when you release the buckle when you undo the velcro loop you'll notice that your jeans belt loop is no longer in the way ;-).

I just bought a tactical belt from eBay. Didn't pay much attention to it when it came, just put it on a pair of trekking pants and forgot about it. Started watching this vid and thought "I wonder if my belt has that carabiner thing on the front". Checked my belt, which I was wearing and was stunned to find it was a Blackhawk CQB! I wonder if there's a pilot flask in my duffle bag.

Great video, really enjoyed it. I have a question though, what branch of military were you in?
@shock2979 жыл бұрын
The outdoors duffle bag is horrible, at least mine was. I travel a lot and bought one for my cloths and after I think 2 trips the shoulder strap buckles broke, they are just cheap plastic. I used it a while longer cause it still had the side straps for just "toting" around and had another failure. Either zipper problem or stitching, don't remember. Mind you I just filled it to capacity with cloths, no real heavy stuff and had problems. I suggest a better quality like the military duffle he showed. Just sharing my experience so you don't waste your money.

First. I'd never tie anything around my neck with that much tension strength. Second,I never buy from Walmart. I built 98% of them from as far south as Florida city and as far north as Mt Dora. So it would be like just giving them their money back. Third, I was wondering, do you not own guns? I see a lot of knives but without a gun,that'll just get ya hurt. I do enjoy your vids. Oh,one other thing,my bug out bag is a Quiksilver bag. I don't think it wise to carry a bag that screams "bug out". But you do inspire a few good ideas from time to time. Keep em coming.

Too bad you didn't list all the items you spoke about in your show notes. I'm not even talking about providing links! In general, I am amazed with the whole bunch of amateurish reviewers, who never provide links and even names of the items they are talking about: very often these people not only habitually omit that, but being true sloppy reviewers as they are, they also don't care to even pronounce these names clearly and distinctively. Very strange and silly behavior, frankly.
