I discovered this video accidentally about 5 years ago when I needed to install a tachometer on my go kart. This was where I first heard about paramotors. I've wanted to fly since I was a little kid, and have been obsessed with paramotors in particular ever sense discovering them from this video.

When I do get a para-motor, I want a Black Hawk because of the many videos of how to work on the motors. That is a big selling point, for me at least. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the comment! Maintenance videos are so very important. It amazes us too that other manufacturers don't take the time to make these. It's such a small industry and the only way people can get info is from the manufacturers at this point. Hopefully as the sport grows, more Dealers will jump on board and help out their manufacturer by making some basic maintenance videos. If there is ever a specific video you would like to see, you can always send our office a suggestion =) -Rob W. Thanks Rob, I will definitely do that. Thank you for replying also. Your company seems to have excellent customer service from what I've seen on KZbin videos and have read. Cheers

Good instructional video Mike. Does it need an extension and if so, which one? Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to comment Anthony! If you need an extension wire, give our office a call and we can get one sent out the same day. This is Rob, BlackHawk's Marketing guy. I'm not 100% sure what the extension is called (for looking it up online), or the exact cost, but it's not much. I'm working out of the office today... Just call the office and our Sales Team can get you taken care of =) BLUE SKIES! -Team BlackHawk SALES: (209) 418-5990 OFFICE: (209) 786-7899 EMAIL: Team@BlackHawkParamotor.com WEBSITE: blackhawkparamotor.com/

What happens if you wrap it more than 3 or 4 times around the spark plug wire?

I'll do to mine what I did on motorcycles since the day I was told about this tape by a friend that worked AC and NASA in the early 80s. 3M silicone tape is the best tape to use to hold down electrical wiring or related jobs. This tape is the type you must pull off a strip of plastic so the tape can adhere to itself. For this application I would take it one full wrap past the end and I would go about 2" down the plug wire and cut it there then do another wrap a few inches this side of the carb end and then one in the middle and other desired spots to make it look uniform and secure. You'll love how it melts to itself and it will have to be cut to be removed after it sets after a few days, but can be used right after taping. No tie wrap ends that can cut skin if drug across or fabric. The ends will not come undone like regular electrical tape does and yes even when pulled to the "proper" tightness, our staple of black, green or red electrical tape WILL lose the glue on the end and start to flop after a few flights and then "stretch" coming loose in the rig somewhere! The silicone will never turn loose! If you want color after applying the silicone, you can tape over it with the colored plastic of choice and then use 2 wraps of Silicone to be sure the ends of the electrical tape will never come lose or heat shrink over the tape for color. Just be ABSOLUTELY positive that you have all the wires and connectors where you want them in this rig as after it sets as you will have to cut it off! It is a hand tight wrapped sleeve when it cures! Completely watertight except for where a wire might need to come out for a fixture somewhere. I have one roll left over from my last bike rebuild years ago, so I'll be good for a while! Blue Sky's and Safe Journeys!

You talking about Temflex or 3m 70? The 60 dollar roll of tape, right?
