Thanks for these videos. They're very helpful. I do have a question having watched this video and the side-mounted reserve attachment video. I have attached my reserve on the side (exactly as in your other video) and was wondering how to prevent the speedbar line from interfering with the reserve attached to the side. Could the speedbar line saw through, or damage, the reserve container with repeated use? Could the speedbar line cause any damage to the J-bar? Do you route the lines between the reserve and the J-bar? I hope you can help with these questions. Dave

another great video....I really appreciate the time you guys put into making these videos. I do not have a speed bar in my immediate future...but if that time does come...I will definitely look back on this video. Looking forward to the Reserve Mounting video as well... Keep up the good work, and I will keep spreading the great job you guys are doing out West.!

What if I pull the speed bar with the trims set to slow?

Thanks for the question Erick! This is Rob, BlackHawk's Marketing guy. I asked our office and they said that it won't affect the Velocity Core or Elektra, however, it's so important to follow normal flying protocol for maximum safety. If you ever have any questions, we're here to help =) BLUE SKIES! -Team BlackHawk SALES: (209) 418-5990 OFFICE: (209) 786-7899 EMAIL: Team@BlackHawkParamotor.com WEBSITE: blackhawkparamotor.com/

+Tom Sheehy Great question! First, check out this video we did on SpeedBar Installation... It will help a lot to visualize what it does (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppmxnnenm6qdbqc). The speed bar uses several pulleys that run a line to a foot bar... When you apply pressure on the bar, it adds input to the glider and changes the angle-of-attack on the leading edge... This allows you to "cut through the air" with slightly less resistance and therefore increases your speed. It's one of the safest ways to go a little faster in this sport. Much safer than flying an undersized / under-loaded glider which so many Pilots do. Safety is everything to us for sure. If this doesn't paint a crystal-clear image of what the speed bar does, give us a call! We are always here to help and that is an excellent question you have =) -Rob Whittaker Director of Marketing 209-786-7899

How much would be one of these paramotors
@blackhawkparamotor8 жыл бұрын
+Tom mcmahon Hi there Tom. Thanks for taking the time to comment. The price depends on which motor you need... This is a "weight-sensitive" sport, so the cost will depend on the unit you personally need. Entire "everything needed to fly" Package Deals start at $6995. The average cost is about $7-10k for a Package - depending on what you need. When you have a moment, please give us a call. We can go over the perfect equipment for you personally, send you a price quote, and get you in contact with someone local to you for lessons. Hope you have a great week and talk to you soon.
