It sucks. I always really liked Seabrook but his game pretty much tanked the last few seasons. Now the guy is out for who knows how long, maybe for good. Wish he was still playing like he was 5 years ago, but age happens.

Now he's in his 30s and has to have hip surgery. That's the kiss of death in today's ultra fast NHL. Bad for #7 but good for the Blackhawks to get out of that stupid bloated contract that Bowman signed him to

I think it's gone down, but I don't think it's gone down as much as many people say. The team is still better with him in the line up right now. Expecially with his shot block ability. I'm not sure he fills the first pair well, but I think he is still a 3 or 4 d man on this team. When he and Keith were paired up earlier this year they looked really good for some reason.
