the lead singer was ill at the time (tonsillitis or something), and it wasn't that bad considering he was sick! give the guy some allowances... check out the live performance of 'lovesongs' and it is clear he CAN sing live! you can't say he was lip synching.

Он не умеет петь. Все тянет Люминор. В этой записи сплошная фонограмма. Как и в других. Слышали мы его живой голос - он бездарь. Как и в Ред хот чилли пепперс всю основную вокальную работу делает бэк вокалист, а этот просто бегает по сцене и открывает рот.

They did sample Depeche, but they did ask permission and got it direct from Martin, who is indeed credited as ''songwriter'' in their cd's booklet. DM has always been very big in Germany, where these boys are from.. Tokio Hotel have also sampled Personal Jesus big time in one of their songs, and some People Are People I believe in one of their newests. As long as they get permission and give proper credit, I see no harm in it, just a kind of tribute to the original artist..
