When i listen to peyote music it brings bak memories. I remember wen i was little, me n da family wud always use to travel bak to the rez and my dad wud turn up his peyote music and pretend hes holding a rattle in his hand and starts singing along. I miss those times :)

Aho .. I remember as a kid i used to sing and attend meetings but along the road i lost track and sight of my goals. Became another statistic of drugs and alcohol and these peyote songs bring back memories of a simple time. I've actually met these guys we are from the same area on the Navajo reservation. many times, english words are used.....such as in a birthday celebration....when you hear that, you know that the song is being sung to help give Blessings to the person who is having a birthday that day...Birthdays are very important.....it means a lot, it is Sacred......Birthdays , and Death days..are both very important and Sacred days in our lives...2 days we need to keep in mind as we go through this Life.......Peyote makes us keenly aware of just how Sacred and important these 2 days are for us....and all our relatives we share our lives with.......
