I got to meet Blackie in new orleans in front of the house of blues before a show...he was very nice and gave me the time of day to speak to him before the show and it meant a lot...this was 15 years ago.

Makes sense to me. It's unreal how mankind can corrupt the word of God and turn people off to the faith. Organized religion is so guilty of that, as it's not a true representation of God's teachings, but rather, a bunch of paint-by-numbers dogma and ridiculous rules and regulations. Jesus came along to throw the rule book out and tells us to love one another and forgive. Glad to hear Blackie dropped that occult nonsense and returned to the faith.
