Hi, Ashley, at 4:49, you proved one of the things experts say about Blackjack is false. Experts say you should assume the next card you will have been dealt is worth 10. Out of a 52 card deck, only 16 of the cards are worth 10, but 36 of the cards are not worth 10. This doesn't mean everything experts say about this game is wrong, it just means people who verify what they say may find something that can prove that they must have miscalculated. It's all right if the public tries to correct me, if they have the proof.

That is most definitely true! I do agree with that. However, it would be interesting to see the true data on how often there really is a 10 under a dealers top card. It seems to happen often! 😄 Any other comments/opinions are welcome on this topic!!

@@perfectpair Thank you. It depends on how many tens and face cards have left the deck. At the beginning of the game, the chances the dealer's downcard is worth 10 are 4 out of 13. The chances get smaller every time a 10 or a face card leaves the deck.

Great question!!!! Insurance is when the dealer has a top card ACE. This is when the dealer offers the player to take insurance which means the player must bet 1/2 of their original bet and place it on the table. The dealer will check to see if they do have blackjack, if they do then you get paid 2 to 1. Essentially getting your bet back. So it saves you the loss! If dealer does not have blackjack then you lose that extra 1/2 bet you placed and you now must try super hard to win your original bet with your cards, to break even. This is why I recommend to only take insurance if you have a good hand (like 20) because if you lose the insurance, you have to have a good hand to still beat the dealer! I hope that helps! 🍀🍀
