Lots of folks would have just sat out, which is their right but sometimes it's nice to just be the assistant and help other ppl stack ( you did slide him a hundred on one of your runs; If yall know it each other would have been decent to give him one for each of those 4-5 you won in a row, especially the BJ hands). I would say tip at the end of your session, or if you want to have the dealer play, maybe break $100s up into $5s and bet 5 for a tip and throw 5 on top of your bet. That way if you win the dealer gets a tip and you can keep their tip stack healthy. Then once you lose that 100$ tip stack, just wait until the end of the shoe to tip normal amount if you are up.

The dealer doesn't get that 2k. It's split with all the dealers. It usually goes into a pool and the percentage is based on the number of hours you work. It's usually weekly or biweekly, depending, but I've seen daily.

They get it all, but it's split with other dealers. It goes into a tip pool and if you work 2% of the total hours for that period, you get 2% of the money in the pool. It works out well usually because sometimes you have bad days and others make up for it.

That dealer will only see a FRACTION of what you tip her because it needs to be split with all the dealers... It's bullshit... Think about it... If there are 300 other dealers working in a 24 hour shift and you tip her $300... She will only receive $1 out of every $100 you tip her...

9 to 1 for all of it gives a house edge of 3.24%. The one you’re probably familiar with being Flash 5 to 1 Straight 10 to 1 Three of a kind 20 to 1 Straight flush 30 to 1 That one has a house edge of 13.39%. Over 4 times worse. The 9 to 1 for everything is a lot better.
