Thanks for the vid. When balancing, I would start with the pitch axis to balance the back and front of the camera then balance the camera upwards. The roll axis was fine. But the Pan axis was also different to how I would do it, I keep the camera turned 90 degrees and tilt the gimbal forward then adjust the pan axis to balance. This will save your gimbal motors from working hard to keep the camera balanced.

Will the tilta nucleus nano work with the crane 3s?
@JamesJacksonFilmz3 жыл бұрын
If you mean will it connect to the Crane 3s remote system then no. You can still attach the focus wheel if you get a ring handle amd pull focus that way. Otherwise you need to connect to the crane 3s focus wheel.

This is the only reason I bought this crane 3s is because I didn't want the offset plate and I wanted to have the cage on.

Hi James ! When I try to balance my roll axis, I just manage to make it hold still in the central position, but when I incline it left or right it just comes back to the central position. I don't understand which move I gotta do ?
@JamesJacksonFilmz4 жыл бұрын
So there isn't any way to really get it fully balanced on the roll axis as it's too wide. You can possibly get it to hold if you incline it left. I would focus on just making it balance on the center. The other thing I would ask you is are you making sure to lift the plate up to further tighten the axis?
@guilhemreyferradini39574 жыл бұрын
@@JamesJacksonFilmz no i will try that. Thank you for the answer !
@manuelbustamante26644 жыл бұрын
Did you offset the plate or did you use it in it´s center position? Since with all other gimbals it's pretty much mandatory to offset it. This would make it the first gimbal in which this is not necessary.
@JamesJacksonFilmz4 жыл бұрын
Manuel Bustamante no offset plate I just used the center part of the cage

Any update on whether the focus motor from the Weebill worked?

After the first step in balancing, you have to balance with the camera pointing straight upward. That’ll fix the issue. Good stuff.

Seems like a few others have had trouble balancing with this camera. Did you find any shake issues?

FRIEND, HELLO. Tell me, when did you shoot the video and moved around the earth together with the camera and the stabilizer, the picture of the video was smooth? There were no problems ??
@JamesJacksonFilmz4 жыл бұрын
Hi there. See my latest livestream for my review. But long story short with the C200 it works like a charm. A heavy charm but still a charm. With the pocket 6K unfortunately nothing I did would stop the motors from shaken.
@very90004 жыл бұрын
James Jackson Films IN TERMS OF ????? I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND KITITS SAID THAT THE STABILIZER IS ABLE TO STABILIZE THE RED CAMERA ... THE BLACKMAGIC 6K CAMERA is a FURTHER NOTHING COMPARED TO THE RED CAMERA. DO YOU WANT TO SAY THAT WHEN USING THE BLACKMAGIC 6K CAMERA, THE VIDEO PICTURE IS SHAKING ???? BUT I SEEN ON KZbin A SMOOTH PICTURE WHEN BLACKMAGIC 6K MOVES (CRANE 3S was used)
@JamesJacksonFilmz4 жыл бұрын
What I am saying is bigger cameras like the C200, C500 and the RED cameras actually have an easier time and can balance on the gimbal with little to no issues. It’s the pocket cameras specifically that have issues with the gimbal. It’s not officially clear why but if I had to guess it’s because it’s body is to wide and off balance in general for the motors to work effectively. This is most noticeable in low mode where the motors go crazy and start shaking the camera.

James Jackson Films THIS VIDEO WHERE A PERSON USES CRANE 3S and Blackmagic 6K and the video picture is smooth. HEALTHY 🙌 THAT EVERYTHING WORKS AND CAN BE USED BLACKMAGIC 6K and CRANE 3S. here is the link to the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5DQZHqbatWBi8U

Cергей Вернега you do realize that just because something works while they are filming video doesn’t mean it always works. I just got a MOZA air 2 and it just works. Switching modes isn’t as easy as a webill s but if you memorize the function it works fine. OR what if the 3s has an issue with pocket 6k’s size. So pick a gimbal, use it and see for yourself. Stop criticizing people trying to help you out by making videos. And stop typing in all caps, you come off like an asshole.

Interested in seeing you balance the C200 with monitor attached. If that balances nicely, I'll be selling the Crane 3 for this.

C200 balancing test is next on the list. I’m trying to get some test shots with the pocket 6k before balancing the c200.

I tried balancing a C300 Mark III, and I'm still trying. It's nearly impossible. The only reason I believe it's possible is because of other YT videos with bigger setups.

Hi, I am experiencing some issues with the follow focus. I can't get it connected to the gimbal. no matter if the lite or max, no matter which port I am using... is there any firmware update or something I missed?

Are you using the correct cord to connect the follow focus to the port on the gimbal. I’m pretty sure it’s a specific cord just for that
