When I was growing up in the 60's, English Leather was the must have scent. Beautiful razor.

Nice shave Sig. I used English Leather back in the 70's. I have Sterlings British Leather and after the dry down it is very close to English Leather. Have a great weekend. 👍

Nice! I like the look of the titanium that they got with finishing and reminds me of a burnished finish, because it looks like hematite. With all the stuff made out of titanium, it's rare to see something that brings out the personality that the metal has. Cool! Sounds like you had a great New Years and I thought maybe you'd have some more of that rice pudding with almonds. I love rice pudding-haha! Kicking it off with a bang, have a great new year bro!

That razor really looks the goods. Love the scent of British (or Imperial) Leather, I have a few versions but not the Stirling one yet. Take care brother SIG👌🤠👌

@@unclelshaves Thanks, Brother! I was told that Bristish Leather(the old one) and English is not quite the same scent. British Leather (the old one) smells like the English Imperial Leather bar soap whereas the old English Leather smmells different. I only have the English Imperial Leather bar soap and the Stirling British Leather soap set. And as I was told, they don't smell the same (to my nose 🙃) . Maybe you have more insight to share!? Happy New Year Sig! I received my Blackbird Ti on December 23rd. I was a little disappointed at first with the quality control. Mine had a burr on the base plate I had to remove and smooth, and the threads were very rough as there was still material from machining stuck in there that I needed to clean. That being said, it's a magnificent tool and an amazing shave. It's all I've been using since I received it.

Thanks, Buddy! Sorry to hear about your issues with finish and QC. The BB Ti and the sating SS Vector are the only BL razors I've gotten with no issues. The Tradere, Era, Osprey and two SS BB's all had issues with the finish and QC. Great shavers, but I'd focus on getting the line all perfect rather than buying other companies up as they are at the moment; but that's just me. Thanks for watching! Have a great week! 🤙 #WAD

Completely agree. My last big purchase was a Karve Overlander and the quality and finish were perfect. Blackland should take note, especially at the high price of their razors.

Great shave Sig. Which plate do you like better? I don’t have a blackbird anymore but if I did rebuy I’d like the TI with the 97mm handle. 😊. I felt like their 85mm was a bit too small and head heavy but the 101 is a tad too long. Happy New year!

Thanks, Buddy! TBH I remembered that my SS Lite was kind of similar to the standard one. But, this quite a bit milder. It's been a while since I've used the SS ones and the standard Ti one. I think it's more question if it's a 'need to have' or a 'nice to have'. And the answer is the second. The standard is fine and not as bitey as some people claim.
