I feel like one way to defeat BLCK is to not match them in the “disciplined” objective type of gameplay, because they’ll simply outclass you in that regard. Teams should always find crazy engages so BLCK will be caught off guard.

Agree on this one, especially with a team like BL, you’d have to find creative and out of box ways to engage and never give them a chance to regain their composure during the match. The problem with this one is, with a great team behind the scenes (MTB, coach and dex) and the Queen’s god tier in game shotcalling, the same strat that countered them would be harder to execute the next time hence I guess the reason why BL has not lost to the same team twice.

The defense of Hadji's Faramis should be focused too. Rapidoot forced the play without back up/ff up to get Estes but Hadji actually cancelled the ulti of the chou by pulling chou away from the Estes. Which cause the snowball to onic ph.

mino jungle makes sense. it has the same akai vibe that uses his ult when taking turtle/lord so he is the only one who can retri. it has awesome amount of sustain as well. cool idea for me tbh.

the last minute pick up to estes is kinda good.. everyone saying it's a greedy play but for me it's one that onic must do coz lapu is about to respawn and they will have hard time ending it if two sustain heroes were present...chou kick can convert into a kill only if not for hadji pulling chou at prfect time to cancel his kick.. that's a good counter for hadji and that play made the comeback possible for me

Just Ban Faramis when facing blacklist. It literally just adds up another special ingredient to their initial UBE strategy. which gives them more opts for certain kinds of situation. Without Faramis I do think they can't pull off that Box 1 wise lord take. Mino could've gone man to man against wise on that lord pit.

Winning teamfights all boils down to which team can outdamage/outplay the other. This is why the gold lane carry getting killed can matter a lot as they deal the most damage and without that damage that a gold lane carry can deal, you lose out in terms of damage when against an enemy team. Of course, this is just a simple concept that can't really explain for most situations out there as there are a lot of factors to consider such as the micro decision, skills, team composition, gold economy, trade offs and Lord/Turtle plays, and a whole heck more. In this game, Onic PH was basically outdrafted. If you compare both teams when making a mistake, Onic PH has to be much more careful as compared to Blacklist as Blacklist can just defend with that cold altar and holy baptism even if they lose out a member.

They are not outdrafted. Onic actually made great drafts on both game 1 and game 2, they baited blck to pick estes and faramis and countered them with Valentina and Mino. Chou will always be a great pick. They also picked Dyroth and Irithel for the armor penetration combo to counter the healing... Their lineup is basically anti-UBE. They lost by making positioning mistakes. Blacklist does not keep on winning because they are smart at drafting. They always win by forcing the enemies to make mistakes and maximizing on those mistakes. That's why black always have a hard time with teams that are highly disciplined like RSG (RSG is a team that rarely makes mistakes and are micro-mechanically adept on getting out unpunished mainly because of Aqua and Light)
