the amount of "forced error" made by echo was insane, Blacklist forced them to make mistakes after mistakes by consistently grouping up(UBE) and echo respond to that by grouping up also, but their heroes are not ready for teamfight yet, they are behind in every lane, and after that, things were falling apart quickly

wise pathing started at orange buff first because most fanny users will auto-invade the orange buff right after securing purple. probably this way, they avoid direct clash from the get go and make sure to secure both buffs away from fanny

@16:45 this is why blacklist is undefeated in MPL PH S7 and S9. And this is also why OMG is keeping up BL phase during those times bcoz OMG is kind of team that don’t react on everything BL is doing… but in S10 its already check by different teams, i just dont know why ECHO is loosing in terms of minion waves on this game maybe bcoz wise and others are already ahead of them and all 5 keep pushing and maintaining their phase in mid… but this is so good analysis.. respect! I remember the dota 2 playstyle of 2015 OG before. It is not totaly the same but the way BLCK manage the lanes and they always check the timer before going to clash.

Just an assumption but looking at echos draft it looks like they were actually trying to prevent exactly what you said. They have some of the strongest early game characters such as fanny, paquito and mathilda but had no chance against blacklist. Such a formidable team... Thanks for explanation tho but i still don't really understand slow pushing, must there be like a certain criteria to not clear the wave? Like leaving one minion?

Creep control gives blacklist the win here. Blacklist's timings are very similar to dota playstyle where the creep wave will dictate weather your ahead or behind before engaging, if youre ahead, just keep the lead and group up. Very simple yet very effective.

I have many friends in the glory tier, but most of them still doesnt understand the simple micro and macro management side of the game. for them , winning lane, jungle rotation, and teamfight is the way to win the game, and that really pissed me off, ive tried to explain that even a single minion or jungle creep can tip the balance of the game. End up im the one being blame on being such a bossy teammate, its just sad to see how small the views of some people on certain things, idont know why is it so hard for them to just try and learn rather than feeling that they are always right.

Nah, this stomp was brought about by ECHO's draft, not so much with how they dealt with Fanny. Yes the buff freezing is key to countering Fanny and Ling taking your own buff but aside from that everything they did is what they do when they're up ahead. Starve the enemy for resources. ECHO thought they could win vs V33nus Estes by picking high AoE burst, squishy Heroes with a Faramis to augment that, but no. BLCK can out sustain that just with Estes and Barats frontline and outpoke with Hadji's Pharsa. You can see in almost all engages Pharsa would ult first to poke the enemy, this forces them to either back up and heal or take the fight with hp disadvantage. Very textbook BLCK game. The key to winning against them is to just shut the sidelanes which is hard because Edward's a god in exp. Period. Oheb's lane can be shut down but that's when V33 comes in to help the gold laner.

Freezing the buff then went to invade for fanny buff forced fanny to use the retri as fanny is very buff dependent. Leaving BL a free turtle as they still have their retri. What a smart move.

Correction about your analyze about how blacklist freeze the lane. They don't freeze the lane to push turret but for them to maintain their gold lead because if they clear the minions echo will gain gold and exp on creeps

actually, it's both. technically, you freeze a lane to stop enemies from gaining exp and gold. but freezing winning lanes also results to slow and gradual push. regarding the bot lane situation, he explained further that they freeze that lane so that the minions will activate the tower passive. once it's used, they can now advance further w/ the next minion wave.
