@@BenjaMage so..... bout the king arthur fights.... im about to end ya career with this hint but pay attaention NOT to the remote at top of screen but instead to his sword when it glows ya swing when its not glowing and ya swing ya take a hit and is honestly the easiest fights to do those clashes in unlike everyone else (especaly blaze and shadow 2) who is alot harder and feels like its a 50/50 each part of the clash as to proceed or take a hit (especaly vs shadow 2 since ya can get into sword clashes VERY easy vs him)

Time Eater on 3DS, the Egg Reaper (I think that’s it’s name) from Sonic Rush, and Wii Dark Gaia are the only Super Sonic final bosses that give me trouble today. Two of those are difficult in a fun way. Time Eater is not.

I'd consider myself the last person to defend Sonic 06 of all games but... I'm pretty sure the reason for the worm design is that it was intended to be a serpent. Sonic 06 had based the villains Mephiles and Iblis on the devil and snakes are also used to represent the devil. That doesn't excuse the rest of the fight but hey, this boss 0.0000000000000000001% less horrible than it initially came off as so I guess that's a (tiny) victory for Sonic 06.

No Maverick, the Tails vs Eggman fight does not depend on the actual upgrades you have obtained. Eggman will have his armor even if you haven't touched Dark story and Tails will have his upgraded missiles and cannon regardless of any Hero story progress.

While Maverick may not be on the defensive about Black Knight anymore, I still am. While that combat could use work, I do still like it. I could say the same about Shadow’s gun combat too. Forces kinda changed my ideal Sonic game to an Adventure game starring the avatar with heavy focus on the grapple hook, but I do still want to see the best aspects of the Shadow and Black Knight combat put together in one system. Also, I’ve had the exact opposite luck with the sword clashes opposed to what Maverick and Silver say. I’ve had no problem with the mandatory clashes against Arthur and the final boss, but against the three knights, I always fail if I get stuck in one.

I hated the final battle between Sonic/Shadow in Adventure 2. It goes on way to long, because your opponent constantly deflects your homing attack and spin dash, while spamming their special attacks. The repetitive dialogue and chaos control doesn’t help.

Since Gerald stalled them by trying to use the ARK to destroy the Black Comet, while Shadow saved humanity, a boy believed Gerald betrayed humanity, which got G.U.N to capture him and execute him after killing Maria.) 20:42 It IS good to some people. Eggman got to use Sonic to get rid of the Deadly Six so he can regain his Badniks and try to conquer what’s left of the world. Sure, Sonic foils him again, but at least we got some Badniks brought back. Balkiry, Anton, Nebula, Uni Uni, Unidasu, Gohla, Turtloids, Coconuts, Clucker, Cluckoid, Bomb, Ball Hog, Slicer, Penguinator, Caterkiller, Crawlton, Aquis, Octus, Burrobot, Hoverby, (Their first time since their debut to have the butterfly wings), Blaster, Spiker (Sonic 2), Spikes, Bat Brain, Jaws, & Snail Blaster. We also got some new Badnik friends like Blowfish Transporter and Galaga Bee. And we still have yet to learn more about all the others like the BFB, Tornadonaut (What the VA calls them), Dung Beetle, Manbou, Utsubo (Which suspiciously looks like Uutsubo from Sonic Advance 3, and might be one and the same, but it’s still in dispute), and Laser Grabber.

As someone who loves Shadow the Hedgehog, I cannot agree with some the reasons for Devil Doom. In order for Chaos Spear to be more effective, you need to hold down the square button to charge then release the button after Shadow says "Chaos..." Devil Doom only teleports if you're too close, so you need the right distance and you'll be fine. Also with the ring count, as long as you have enough rings, then you're fine. Just worry about getting more rings when you feel like you're running low. With Chaos Control if you look in the manual, it says that you can cancel Chaos Control at anytime by pressing the circle button. I was able to beat Devil Doom with Chaos Control. To say that Devil Doom was Metal Overlord done wrong was really pushing it. Metal Overlord had no strategy whatsoever! It's just fill up the Team Blast meter, that's it! At least Devil Doom tried to imply strategy and thinking to the overall fight, and to me it was the best boss fight of the game. I'd take Devil Doom over the garbage bosses in Sonic Heroes any day of the week.

BTW Silver & Maverick, The 3ds version of Time Eater is worse because it has a phase where you ride towards it in 3d while you dodge its hands and you need to move in a lot in different directions to dodge it while your ring counter quickly depletes faster & you need to get all 7 chaos emeralds from the special stages that are literally Sonic Heroes stages but so dang accurate to in order to do it at all

In regards to Iblis phase 2 being a worm instead of a humanoid like its other two forms, the way I saw it in the story is that it’s called “phase 2” because it’s the second Iblis fight chronologically in the story. Iblis phase 1 was defeated by Silver, then Sonic and Shadow fight Iblis phase 2 only a few hours after, thus it didn’t have NEARLY enough time to reform back to its Phase 1 form. Then when Silver fights Iblis Phase 3 as his final boss, it’s been an ambiguous amount of one since the Phase 2 fight because time travel. In that ambiguous amount of time it reformed into, then advanced beyond, its Phase 1 form.
