They're great and it also makes things much faster when breaking down your rig for travel.

They don't twist on they're held on by a screw to the plate. Also if your cage has Arri pins they have anti-twist locking holder so it's impossible for it to come off.

Dude, I don't get it. I'm watching this literally for the intended purpose, but your lighting and colors in your videos recently have been incredible. So luscious. Will say there's some sort of grain/noise going on? I don't know. Keep nailing these damn colors though!!! show me your ways

This channel transformed from being an Android centric channel to a completely filmmaking channel. It caters only to a specific set of people now and maybe that's why it didn't grow as rapidly as I expected it to. Armando was my favorite KZbinr at one point and I always felt that this channel was so underrated and I think it still is. If you're into filmmaking, editing (for KZbin) and stuff. I don't watch these videos but I'm just happy to see that Armando is happy making the videos that he wants to make. I'm happy for him and wish him all the best.

Awesome setup. That power setup with DC instead of the battery coupler is a great idea with the quick release functionality. All of this is well beyond what i do with my little KZbin videos but it's super interesting to learn about. Nice job!

I've been planning on getting the Tilta Cage system when I'm finally able to buy the amazing Bmpcc 6k, and I think you just changed my mind on the build. I always preferred portability and modularity when planning builds for cameras and this system just meets my requirements. Hope I can raise the money fast enough to get the camera and the rest gears I would need. P.S. Loving the light placement, gives me ideas of different scenarios that light would be useful

Damn Armando! I just picked up the Camtree rosette arms, wish I had known about the Kondon Blue one's cos I love the thumb button adjustment! Definitely gonna cancel my Smallrig quick release system for the Kondor Blue one. Just wrote to them as it's not available in London yet. Your kit's looking phenomenal! Keep up the good work!!!

So I guess we're at a point in gear right now where a lot of people would rather buy a still-photo-form-camera with over-the-top specs, and pimp it with a modular rig that's more expensive than the camera itself, than buy for roughly the same money a more traditional camera geared towards what's been important to operators for ever : ergonomics, durability, reliability, manageable media.

I think the rig is a bit expensive..but i'm not gonna lie i'm blown away by those mini release plate ! First time i hear about it, defo gonna put it in my rig to come. For the V mount i found a great way to do it. Seems to me that in every rig the battery is in front of the screen which must be annoying even if you only use it for settings. I found a vmount plate + 1 single rod clamp. This way you should easily rotate the battery 90° (or more if you feel like it) at every moment while still securing it

Very nice set-up and very well exleined the only accessories I find not very professional is the Tilta nano: even if is damn cheap and is working is not enough reliable and precise for any professional film making production and you can encounter issue with signal working distance, radiofrequency interference and precision on heavy cine lenses. My suggestion is to spend few more bucks and buy a better lens wireless control system to be use with this setup.

It doesn't have continuous autofocus, only tap to focus, so be ready to start manual focus pulling a lot

Great setup! Really gonna be helpful as I build my own setup. Just one question: is it possible using the Kondor Blue 501 baseplate to put a set of rods in the front for a matte box and follow focus(with multiple motors) and another set of rods in the back for v-mount batteries and c-box? Or is it better just to buy one set of rods long enough (about 12 inch or maybe 15 inch) to make that setup possible? Would love to hear back from you! Other than that, this is the best setup I've seen by far.

Great video! I always love how much good info you pack into a short video. Why do you prefer the EVF over an external monitor? Is it the smaller profile? no glares in bright light? an extra point of contact for stability by pushing your face into it? I haven't used an elf but i have been thinking about getting one.

The extra point of contact especially on cameras that don't have IBIS is very crucial. Also, I love how all you see is the frame, when you're viewing it on a monitor there's distractions and things happening around. If I can shoot with EVF only I would but not everything needs a shot like that.

Would you recommend using both the BMPCC 6K and the EOS R for easier (lighter) use with a Ronin S, as a 2 camera workload, having the least hassle in post? I am a Canon user for years and have lots of EF glass, so I am considering the BMPCC 6K . But would appreciate your thoughts? Regards
