Ok, Just finished upgrading the fans on my ATEM Production Studio 4K that was noisy as hell, and now it's like I have to make sure it's ON. Amazing.. took some digging to make sure the wire color codes but it's done. thanks for the inspiration :)

what fans did you use?

OMG I just unboxed the 1ME and powered it up. WOW!!! What a deal breaker. I knew there was some fan noise but not server room loud. This is not even reasonable. They never should have shipped it without Noctura fans. Thanks for the video. I wish I saw this before I ordered.

Ya - its great gear - just too loud... after the fan job, my atem is great... but my hyperdecks are still loud.

@@RyanSHarper Are you going to try replacing fans in the hyperdecks next? This is exactly what I'm researching. Haven't bought a hyperdeck yet, but need all gear in the same room as my KZbin video studio.

@@BensTechLab I tried before - but couldn’t get it open - there was a metal locking thing I couldn’t figure out I plan on trying again though

Great video, but i have a question. I have blackmagic Hyperdeck studio pro 4k ssd recorder, it has similar fan noise. I saw you have the same product. Did you change the fans or not? If you chanced that please show me . Or that fans suitable for hyperdeck studio pro 4k?

I tried to do the same thing on the hyperdecks- took all the screws out, but it has a mechanical lock of some sort that I couldn’t figure out. And I didn’t want to force it open. I searched and searched online to see how to open it up but nothing... if I have another go, I’ll definitely make a video though. I assume that the fans would be a similar ‘hack’ - but unless you can get in there...

Hey Ryan, really great job! Is there any way to replace the fans without soldering? Do you know if there is maybe a power adapter?
@RyanSHarper4 жыл бұрын
@istopen I don’t know if any adapter - but the soldering really wasn’t that big of deal - this was my first time doing it, and it seemed to work! You’re not soldering the board just a few wires, so messing up is easily correctable!

@@tabuhuso1 are you talking about a atem mini? cause i believe the studio has a multiview... what do you mean grid?

@@RyanSHarper I have television studio hd, and I' lost multiwiew output, no live video only grid screen.
@RyanSHarper3 жыл бұрын
@@tabuhuso1 that sucks - you could get a bunch of hdmi splitters and then a hdmi multiviewer... but it sounds like it might just be easier to upgrade to the atem mini extreme...
