Hey CineD, can you please please please please please please please please go to blackmagic booth and ask these questions about fairlight 👇👇 1. Will there be a bezier curve rather than pen draw automation in fairlight? 2. Will the Dolby Atmos renderer or the space view scope interface will be changed in a final version of resolve 18? 3. And if changed then how will the renderer will look like? Like they've Dolby render interface in production suite or Logic Pro X? Will it be looking like that? Or something else? Please please please please please please just these three questions 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I just use fusion on still images and export as a JPEG. It's not official, but it gets the job done

What I wish they could do would be possibility to use all Final Cut and Premier Pro templates in Resolve because Resolve have some limitation to the creative design workflows in my opinion. Overall a grate software but have some limitations when it comes to external creative templates.

hallo there! free version of davinci 18 ,does suport 10bit 422 video ???
@A_BricksAndThings2 жыл бұрын
According to their website, NO. Free version - 8 bit, up to 60fps, UHD 3840 x 2160. Paid Studio version - 10 bit, up to 120fps, "beyond" 4k. So if you want high end video, plus all the extra features the Neural Engine provides, you are going to have to pay. :)

Still no native support for prores raw ?

Didn’t look into that yet, but if it’s not available that means it’s mostly an Apple license thing, who owns it and might try to “limit” Blackmagic from monopolising against their FCPX.

I see they are using M1 iMacs for their demonstrations, so I guess they are good computers to run Davinci Resolve.

this guy really needs to work on his presentation skills. And this business of doing a demo on the fly just does not work at all. He's wasting so much time hemming and hawing while trying to decide the best effect demo he wants to do. It would have been far more pleasing if he had a script that was well rehearsed for this kind of presentation. Also, and not to put too fine a point on this... this business of him holding a microphone while doing a demo on a computer about the product is the absolute worst idea. Not only did he have to concentrate extra hard on his demo and talk about the product, now he also had to worry about holding that mic in his left hand whilst doing so. This is yet another added distraction and a clear demonstration of an amateur production. B&H should know better. They are a company that specializes in electronics. BlackMagic Design should also know better. Both of them should have taken the time and prepared well ahead of this event for how they wanted to do this presentation. Come ON guys!!! you are supposed to be professionals and you are supposed to be providing a professional presentation. I'm sorry, but this is hardly professional. Running an unscripted presentation and an unrehearsed and prepared demonstration are the most absolute atrocious mistakes you could possibly make. You guys make or sell these products. You more than anyone ought to know better and you should definitely already have a working knowledge for how to do demonstrations and presentations like this one. For B&H and also for BlackMagic Design to offer something this poorly executed is just inexcusable.
