Is the mini overkill? I see so many people buying the micro. I was thinking of picking up the mini so I wouldn't have to upgrade later. What do you think?

I think it really depends on your budget. The mini is nearly $3000 if I remember correctly and it takes up a lot of space on a desk. With the micro I can throw it in a backpack and still travel with it. I wouldn't be able to do the same with the mini.

What are your monitor inches?

Honestly, I can't remember. Monitor size isn't nearly as important as things like color space and color accuracy. I would pay more for those things over as big monitor.

£900!!! ...I'll stick with the mouse. Or get a Loupedeck.

I know it can be expensive, but I can easily say the Blackmagic Micro panel or something similar like the Tangent Ripple will significantly speed up your workflow. You lose so much time moving the mouse around and it's a lot easier to adjust multiple things at the same time when using a panel. I higly reccomend a product like this if you find yourself color grading on a regular basis.
