Love your stuff Sam! I too have recently discovered this and it works like a charm! I've also been playing around with my Atomos monitors because the Pyxis is outputting 4K now over SDI, meaning I can record Pro-Res 4K using my Ninja or Shogun. I don't know what the sensor is actually outputting over SDI but I did a test and put the GEN 5 LUT on afterwards in Resolve and it seemed pretty good, but possibly not true Pro-Res - I suspect it's not full sensor re-out in terms of dynamic range. Something very much worth investigating as a 'work around' considering they've removed Pro-Res from their cameras - WHY!? Keep up the good work!

@@lonelymediastudios thank you! Love your showreel too! You should do more 🤩 That is a pretty cool work around actually! Is that the ninja V?? I love B-raw but even if they just kept H.265 (not the low res proxy) this would make it far more appealing to a lot more users. I think it’s more to do with licensing cost for each codec but i would pay to have the separate license options like ProRes & H.265….i think lots of people would. Thanks for the info dude, you should shoot a vid on it 😎

Great little tool! How does it function with more motors? We’d be curious to see how this stacks up against the small rig option?

@@formatthitech great question! It runs two motors wonderfully! I have the SmallRig fizz too so can do a comparison

I use this with the P4K and 6K FF, I find it pretty buggy still.

@@adriancluskey3640 what bugs are you experiencing?? I’m only really interest in using the follow focus its main design & the run stop but everything is quite a nice bonus 😊

@@Sam-higgins I hear you, but the Tilta advertise other features with this unit other then just the follow focus. Don't get me wrong, its a great product, but it needs the firmware and features to be refined. I find the wireless connection sometimes cuts out, also bumping the TF/DF switch or having it in different mode affects the operation of the camera control. The hand wheel acting weird and needs a hard restart. The display on the hand wheel does not always reflect the camera settings and can be misleading, to the point I have to double check all the time. It works but feels half baked, it could really do with an update, plus how long do we have to wait for the lens data page to be usable? One area, I think Tilta really missed out, is the ability to pull focus via blue tooth (with compatible AF lens), the RS pro 3 gimbal has this feature, saves connecting up the motor. Its such a shame, I understand why they did it (not to cut into the motor sales etc) but damn that wold have been a great feature to have.

@@adriancluskey3640 I haven’t experienced this sorry but it’s a shame you are having those issues 😢 Have you reported them to Tilta?? Might be worth starting a thread as I’m sure some of them could be fixed hopefully. 🤞
