Will you be able to configure the camera so that it just uses the Pyxis monitor to save battery? Also is there any way to protect the main monitor from handling damage, scratches etc?

Be frank, this non-artiuculated screen is kind a lame. You knew you wanted to get more money from this camera by introducing separate screen. It is clever but ?I'll stay with may 6K pro then.

Actually it was made in response to people wanting a monitor from BM that had camera control. The other monitors from BM didn’t have the hardware to update for camera control so this was in development when the need kept coming up. Around the same time they were responding to the box camera request. It’s not a necessary item but it’s an option for those that want it.

I'd be surprised if SmallRig or someone else doesn't come up with an articulated attachment for it.
