I saw a video of a Black American girl visiting Afghanistan recently and she had an amazing trip. It was very well similar to this man, people were very nice and wanted pictures of her etc... because they aren't used to foreigners. She just had to be covered. A scarf on her head and a long dress. If you have no issues with that then you're fine.

I was born in Afghanistan and raised here in the U.S. since I was 8 years old. I've been back to visit a handful of times in my lifetime, but since the recent Taliban takeover, I pretty much felt that I would never feel safe there if I were to go back and visit again. After watching this video, I somehow don't have that fear anymore...I think you pretty much just convinced me to start planning my next trip back home. Thank you for not being a typical tuber that visits another country, especially one such as Afghanistan, and already has that holier-than-thou approach to things. I spent a few weeks in Bangladesh and it was a lot like this. I was followed everywhere and everyone wanted a picture with me. I'm a 6ft 230 lb/ 105kg red head so people were shocked when they saw me haha. The people there are very small. They were amazing people. Very kind and hospitable. Amazing experience
