My son passed tragically on 6-13-15. He had this song & many other Blackmill songs within his playlist. It makes me sad but feel connected to him at the same time. Love you Chris & thank you for the great music you left behind.

The first time I listened to this was in March 2014. I just survived a car crash and fell in love with a girl I had been dating on and off for about 8 months. She was heavily into using MDMA and so were her friends. Not once did they ever pressure me into taking it, a few weeks before this night I tried it out and thought it was great. I remember the night well. Sat in her room, listening to this, high on MDMA, tripping together and having a great time. So peaceful and such a happy memory. I'm in my 30s now, we had a bad breakup in 2015 and that night is so far away, but when I listen to this song, it pulls me back to that night and I remember that we had our moments of greatness together. I can never go back or change anything, but for a brief 4 minutes, I can remember those special moments with her and hope that we are both happy with where our lives ended up. Music... what a powerful thing...

Young man named Robert Card whos from Scottland. I even found a quote from him. "Blackmill is the name of the house where my Grandad and Grandma use to live. I’m hoping to get enough support and the funding to be able to buy this house back. Since they passed away we had to sell the house. It’s the place where I grew up and loved more than anything so I’m making this music to help get a part of my childhood back that should of never been missing."

@collectiveinsanity59779 жыл бұрын
I know it's almost like you feel the music, you sit there and imagine a life without the common pain or come up with good memories. It's a happy sort of feeling that I get with most of their music. I find my self sitting there thinking about days with my brothers doing stupid shit, living life in the moment instead of looking back in the past all the time.the past is fun and makes us who we are, but living now creates that as well
@shady40919 жыл бұрын
+That one girl who fuks around with the fuk around Good music = endorphin's and endorphin's = euphoria. I actually find it fascinating that we, as humans, are actually programmed to feel such emotion from music that we enjoy. In a way, we really are all addicted to music. I often think about earlier times, the times of great composers and before personal music players were a thing, at all. Most common folk would only, ever hear their favorite song, maybe a few times in their entire life, since the only way they could hear it would be to hear it live. I think about that and make sure I never take good music for granted. It really is a massive luxury.

Ugly Pyro A friend of mine "lost" his litte cat. After 1,5 Month later he "found" him in his basement. The detail of Pumas (the cat) fight for survival are unknown but we think he survived due to a leaking water pipe and the insects he caught. He is mentaly damaged, thin as hell, but alive.

Love the vocal buildup and 0:55 with the hard synth is just perfection!

Mikasa i fall asleep when its all quiet so I put music. I play blackmill most of the time.

Mikasa for me it's mostly better than listening to the dog barking, other people's music, talking, etc. outside my room. Joys of not having your own place.

Kinda depends on what i'm studying. like music and reading just doesn't work

There's 2 types of dubstep. The loud annoying shitty dubstep (Skrillex) and theres this. Peaceful and beautiful.
@evanslacour11 жыл бұрын
As much as i respect your opinion. I strongly disagree calling the 'loud annoying shitty dubstep (Skrillex)' shitty. I love melodic dubstep as much as I love dubstep. Lets make peace here. Listen to whatever makes you happy :)
@Tyrannix1211 жыл бұрын
Well Dubstep has soooo many sides, many people dont even know about :) There is much more then chilstep and skrillexstep ;) Just widen your horizon and you will probably never want to listen to another genre again :D
@Kyusha44111 жыл бұрын
There is also the in between average normal drop dubstep that does not have a high pitch or soft melody
@callumhansen274211 жыл бұрын
Im sorry to inform you skrillex is not dubstep. He is in fact electronica or electro-house. He was genre'd as dubstep why 12 year olds who don't know what a drop or a base is. his music has no growls, very few drops, and just because it has a wub doesn't make it dubstep.
@evanslacour11 жыл бұрын
Callum Hansen Could we all focus on the "Listen to whatever makes you happy" part pretty please and end this meaningless conversation right here :) Thank you.

I love how everyone is so emotionally attached to black mills music! It's so strong it can represent a memory so deeply you can cry or get chills as soon as you hear this. It's like thinking about a grieving struggle that later you realized turned out for the best.
Настоящий легенды знают что это музыка Влада Дагласа
