I took a road trip from Cali to Florida during the summer of 2012. It was around 3 am when I was coming up to the Arizona New Mexico boarder. I pulled off Interstate 10 and drove about a half mile down an empty utility road. I turned off the car lights, got out, laid down, and just stared up into the sky while listening to this song with headphones on. Seeing the Milky Way on that clear summer desert night with this song playing will always be one of my most memorable experiences.

@@fraai it's definitely something everybody who has the opportunity to experience should do at least once. I grew up in Cali and even driving out to Joshua Tree wasn't as clear as the Arizona - New Mexico sky when you're in the middle of nowhere on a clear summer night. Its songs like this that make me wonder what old composers would think of our modern form of music. I personally would like to believe that they would be awestruck by the ability people have to make this stuff from their computer. No longer is there a need for entire orchestras to convey a message of scale, it can all be done by almost anybody who has the drive to do so, meaning that there is an abundance of incredible sounds to be heard. Its humbling that we live in a time in which this is possible.

truer words could not have ben spoken, there is something great about playing live instruments that portray talent on a a bigger scale however the convenience of making incredible music has never been greater and that is a musician's dream! I imagine they would be very appreciative of it.

Gosh, when you take a second to look back, it wasn’t as bad at you thought it was, was it? Now we got bills to pay, we are stressed to find careers that we will have to do the rest of our lives. Life is so strange and we are just borrowing its resources until we reunite with our old form. We all belong to the universe. Once you start to realize what’s truly important in life, you live a more fulfilled life. Realizing that this life is not permanent helps to remove some unnecessary stress and/or pain. I’m 25 now and have learned so much and realized Blackmill was one of the small few, comforting peaceful things I could acquire during teenage years. Now I know how toxic my family was and Blackmill helped me get through that, without even realizing at the time. This music was vital to me. I always pictured of something grander. Oussama CH KittoChan9 'drop wasn't real dubstep' people who are so used to 'dance/club' EDM that they forget how to appreciate instrumental electronic. So many people I know value a song not by it's melodic content, but it's 'dance-ability'...

PoeticRulesAll Official that sucks though, cause it's such a pretty melody

I really enjoyed Blackmill's work, and he's one of the more prominent chill producers, at least he's got us, a dedicated following. Would rather have that than a mindless crowd that screams when the artist changes his style.

Agreed. I can't understand it.

This artwork always makes me smile. Not only because it is aesthetically pleasing, but also because I see a deeper meaning in it. If it were to be a picture, it must have been taken from an airplane at the right moment when the plane passes through a space where the moon gives way to the light of the sun. There are times where all we see is darkness. But as long as we keep moving, we eventually see the light. The light that was always there but hidden.

when i listen to this song, it makes me feel a lot of things, and at first i really didn't like the title because i felt that this song stood for being part of the world, experiencing something new every second. but then i thought about it, what if it's not about the feeling of being comfortable at home, but instead it represents the idea that you are your home, and only when you accept your own existence are you really home. in a sense, it's only those who always stay in one place that never make it home. anybody have opinions?

I like how the genre is just "Music". It's too good to be categorized, it needs its own category

I don't know how I got here, I don't ever want to leave. Very little music makes me sit back and wander off in my head, this one takes me on such a journey. May the Great All smile upon you always.
