This disappointing series basically ended the teams' chances for a 3rd straight playoff berth. The Rocks never recovered and as much as I like Bud Black I was surprised he made it through. Blackmon...my Lord I've never seen a single player performance like that in a series. Yes he got lucky on a couple but for the most part he crushed everything they threw up there.

Fun Fact: Before Game 2, the Rockies had NEVER blown a six+ run lead in the ninth. The fact they blew that and then a three run lead two days later us almost unheard of in the modern Rockies era.

This series hurt. By all rights the Rockies should have had a 4 game sweep. But the bullpen blew it, big time, twice, and almost blew it the other two times. Never before has a series split hurt so much. Go Rockies! Take the hitting to Arizona and get the pitching back in gear.

@@danejurus69 dude blackmon is 100% a product of coors. his ops is nearly 300 points higher at home than it is on the road for his career and with this year specifically he's actually been trash on the road even though hes been a god at home. This year his slugging percentage at home alone is over 300 points better at coors than on the road, and his ops is over 800 points better at coors than on the road

@@TheAznwiseguy I get that he is better at home, but most of his hits are line drives, there was 1 hit in this video that was a Coors Field hit, the rest would be hits in any park. Also, pretty much every player is better at home because they are more comfortable at home because they play the most amount of games there. Not saying he doesnt get some colors field hits, but I mean get real most of the hits are legit.
