And me again: Hey Candice, I know you can sing great. But the vocal melody of Diamonds and Rust is really challenging - and you hit it just perfectly. Incredible performance!

Dear Ritchie and Candice, Thanks for great music, and have a happy Christmas and New Year. Best wishes, Euan xx

@EuanElliott The band Judas Priest covered it too with both the demo Sad Wings Of Destiny version(1975) that's more preferable to the official rerecorded Sin After Sin version(1977).

I didn't even know it. Also an interesting version. But I have to say that BN's version is much more to the point
@johnpolitis79295 күн бұрын
@@JoachimGlasnerI disagree. Judas Priest's original demo Sad Wings version is much more to the point. It's more punchy and brings out the darker aspects of the song with a lot of pain being expressed.

Thank you very much! I will gladly listen to it again according to these criteria. Every interpretation has its charm. And I also really love Judas Priest

Really breathtaking to watch both or all of the band whether your originals. Or another Unbeatable.

Candice, I was looking through my Blackmore's Night concert DVDs this week. You have had some great songs that were never given proper treatment on DVD. Shadow of the Moon, Gone With the Wind and Way to Mandalay come to mind. Is there any chance we may get another DVD with those tunes (hopefully) included in the performance?

Hard to believe she wasn't a professional singer before marrying Ritchie, she's very close to perfect pitch.

That was fantastic. It rivals the judas priest version thst Tim Owens sang.

Have you ever talked to Joan Baez about your version of D&R? I'm curious what she thought.
