My favorite musical act, Candice Night is so kind and considerate to Blackmore's Night fans, she seems like such a nice lady.

Christmas is more than 2 months past, but it lives on in my heart thanks to superb music like this. I'm a doo wop guy, but I stumbled upon Blackmore's Night a couple of years ago and was blown away by the beauty of the music. God Bless the Blackmore family.

@@bradgrant3338 me too, It is sad though when you consider how bad many Church's "worship and praise" bands are in comparison. In many ways they honor Christ more by playing such a godly song but then they undercut it by removing Christ Jesus from the songs intent to secularize it. They have fantastic music though.

is it really too much to sing the CHRIST the Lord ,after all the carol is a CHRISTMAS carol. Christ is born in Bethlehem , not He is born in Bethlehem
@crazymanmichaelb Жыл бұрын
This song's lyrics were originally in Latin. The word "Christus" (Christ) doesn't appear anywhere in the Latin text. Instead, the word "Dominum" (lord, master) stands alone. So what Candice is singing here is simply a more accurate translation of the Latin.
@MarkDiSciullo Жыл бұрын
@@crazymanmichaelbthat’s total revisionist history BS. Just because you write it in a comment doesn’t make it true. The song was written by a Catholic priest. The Latin word Dominum LITERALLY translates to “Christ is Lord. Dominum appears about 100X in EVERY Catholic Latin Mass when referring “Christ” as “Lord” Traditionally this song has ALWAYS had the lyrics directly referring to “Christ” is Lord…not this He/Him preferred pronoun BS. Wokeness really is a mental disorder.
@alwilson320417 сағат бұрын
The song is "Christ the Lord, not just 'he.' A shame Candace is so anti-Christian she refuses to sing these great hymns correctly and give them the proper respect they truly deserve. Merry Christmas Ritchie!
@hey.hombre4 жыл бұрын
Beautiful quite beautiful. But. Why does she sing 'He is the Lord' instead of 'Christ is the Lord'? In Latin the Dominum is Christ the Lord. The original lyrics is Christ is the Lord.

This is also I heard notice thier latest Xmas song in the Facebook Candice sang O come all ye faithful and suddenly change the lyrics For him CHRIST The Lord .
@walterevans21182 жыл бұрын
Well, possibly because the UK is ‘multicultural’ today and by not specifying Jesus they are trying not to offend Muslims in the interests of peace in a multi faith community ? But I could be completely wrong.

@@walterevans2118 Pity, because in doing so they've turned what is an otherwise great rendition of the carol into a bit of a joke.

@@johno4521I agree…beautiful song, turns into a pile of woke, political correctness. Why did they even bother singing Christmas songs??? Maybe they should’ve just done a New Year’s Eve party and sang covers of Taylor Swift songs.
