Deniece Williams is in my opinion the best singer of her generation and in my top five starting lineup of best female singers of the 20th century. 21st century divas should thank God she’s not coming as hard now as she did in the 70s and 80s. If she did, most of today’s vocal VIPs would still be waiting at the bar for a table, let alone receiving the display table treatment they’re now getting.

The most beautiful song She ever recorded

I agree. The lyrics in this song sends the energy of dreams, aspirations, high positive vibrations, self love 💕 dignity, unconditional love, pride & in my own opinion “Black Empowerment” all in one. Unfortunately what they have out today is the total opposite. The frequency of today’s so-called music 🎼 influences a low & toxic vibration towards humanity.

@@jojodancer0072 I love how she Lost herself in the performance. This was recorded in ,83 and she still sings angelically beautifully and honestly.

The band was too loud! They were drowning out her vocals to the point, that you could barely hear her.

It's so very sad when artists lose their beautiful voices. It hurts so bad to see this. Even Freddie Jackson, one of the best singers ever did a show recently and voice was no more. They shouldn't let them get on stage knowing their voice is gone. It's embarrassing to them. Jùst let tĥem just be known for their former glory of when they were great. 🙏🏿

IMO voices only get better with age If you work your gift right, it will continue to grow and work for you🫶🏾
