Don't get me wrong I love Power Rangers, but there was soooooooooooooooooo much potential that was given for this episode that sadly just wasn't there. For the legacy rangers that came I'm so glad that they were there because a lot of them needed a come back episode. I do wish Preston and Koda had a moment, I also wish we could see all the rangers interacting more with each other. The one last thing I saw that I personally thought was funny was that if Dravon's goal was to conquer all the dimensions then that means taking over Both comic book time lines which I'm not really sorry to say is just not possible. I mean the comic book charters just seem so much more powerful, so taking Lord Drackon (or however you spell it) teamed up with the Comic book rangers against an army is just not possible.

WTH can't PR understand when an anniversary episode happens, it NEEDS to be an hour. We had 10 rangers but only Tommy did anything, and everyone else had two or three lines. I understand "Shattered Grid" is a thing, but I always thought PR though NS were one universe except for RPM. Now it's a multiverse??? So, the Boom comics are canon?

It certainly had a few things to touch up, but nothing that ruins the episode for me. There's no gaping plot holes or inconsistencies that I can really see, the only real one might be the Falconzord but I can't remember if it was ever destroyed or not.

In the episode we find out a few cool facts about Tommy He has a kid and has a Master Morpher to turn into his past ranger forms An amazing idea for a fan made film or anything else would be Tommy passing down or giving a Master Morpher to his son JJ. It would start off with Tommy being captured by old and stronger enemies and before taken away he has enough time to give JJ his own Master Morpher, hoping his son can save him. Sometime down the line JJ saves Tommy and finds a way to combine two ranger powers together to become stronger by using his Master Morpher and Tommy's in each of his hands. The power of the White ranger and Green ranger. He'd say " Master Morphers. White ranger power, Green ranger power. Powers combine." He'd bring the Morphers to face each other and a cool morphing sequence begins and we see JJ in a new ranger form. If you've seen the Shattered Grid comic then you'll know what I'm thinking. JJ would be wearing Drakon's suit but his still good, combining powers did not make JJ evil just stronger. An amazing fight breaks out that leads to a Megazord battle and by combining powers JJ can now combine the Green Dragon, White Tiger and Falcon Zords together. At this point I've run out of ideas. I'd like to here your ideas if you wouldn't mind.

I even read a fanfic called I Lost My Hart where Tommy meets the daughter named Molly he never knew from his second chance with Kimberly. It’s an AU set in 2015 Possibly during the Dino Thunder saga and Molly becomes the Green Dino Ranger for a team up of Ranger teams from the first 12 seasons

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW, is what happened to Tommy's kid? He got on to him about leaving his bike out, and then Tommy got abducted. Then the next scene when the other rangers go to his house, the clone and monsters COME OUT OF HIS HOUSE. I clearly feel that they were sweeping the house for other people. Also the bike wasn't at the house. Was his kid taken? Was his kid killed? These are the things I thought about while watching it. I also watched it twice JUST to make sure he wasn't brought up again.

I absolutely agree that this should have been an hour long special, it had so much potential and probably would have given the other legendary rangers aside from Tommy the attention they deserve, but they did a really good job anyways with just 30 minutes. For the five other rangers: 1)Any Ninja Storm ranger! It seemed like such a missed opportunity!! T_T Cam would probably love to see and learn about ninja steel 2) Sky as either Red SPDA or even Shadow Ranger if Doggie passed that down to him.... Just because we never really got to see him being his dream of a red ranger. 3) Merrick or Taylor from Wild Force 4) RJ from Jungle Fury 5) Chip from Mystic Force. I think he would have loved to see the ninja skills and could have fun with magic alongside Preston XD and maybe I am just dreaming too much,since it is really early to do this, but I think it would have been kinda cool if we were given a small sneak shot of a beast morpher somehow.... again probably just my hype getting ahead of itself.

3:45 to 4:02, I would like to know who the mother was also. Tommy and Kat do hold hands for a second, but they don't have any other interactions throughout the episode. My guess is that they left it open to interpretation for fans. It's quite possible that Tommy may have met another woman who was never a member of his ranger teams and he married her. How they could have improved in this episode. Change the robot rangers for evil versions of the rangers from an alternate dimension where all rangers are evil and the villains are the heroes. (Wild wipeout anyone?) Dravon should have been Drakkon, if your doing evil rangers from an alternative dimension then you have the alternative legendary ranger to them. Have a special cameo from non other than Jason Lee Scott who steals Tommy’s Thunder by delivering the killing blow. Actually loosing Rangers. If the bad guys been taking rangers from other dimensions then show what happens to those who rebelled and suffered. Also if Gemma is the only ranger from the RPM world why bother having her if non of her fellow rangers where taken by Dravon. Saving grace was having the Wild Force Rider take out the giant bad guy again ;)

This is tough but if I had 5 more Rangers for the episode I’d go with: -Zhane because we haven’t seen him since the In Space finale. -Ryan Mitchell because he’s the first American Ranger. -Merrick cuz he shares my name and we haven’t seen any of those characters since Wild Force and it could follow what happened with him and Zen-Aku. -Any Ninja Storm Ranger would be great cuz they’re ninjas and it just makes sense. I’d pick Tori cuz we need more female representation with additional characters and she became a teacher at the end of Ninja Storm so maybe she could teach them a new skill. -Lastly I’d pick an extra hero in Ninjor cuz if we got the Falconzord that means Ninjor is still around like he always has been and I know the costume still exists cuz it was used not too long ago in Gokaiger. Also, he’s a ninja. Great job with the review. It was a good episode and I honestly loved it too, flaws and all.

Sounds like it was a really good episode. Crossovers are always my favourite type of special and Power Rangers has such an interesting dynamic to work with. Each series is consistent with the amount of Rangers, but having so many different actors take up each mantel broaden the scope of what they're able to do with characters interacting across the PR universe. It's a shame they didn't go for an hour since they absolutely had the material to make it work.

Surge Guy Here, It is awesome that we both have something that we can agree on this anniversary episode...it needs to be a 2 part episode or 45min episode special. I was amazed on how everything fit into a half-hour and the episode was straight to the point and no side story problems to eat up the episode time. I was almost was thinking it's going to be a 2 parter as I kept looking at the time...but I was wrong lol. my 5 rangers I wanted to see in this episode: 1. Adam Park 2. Zhane 3. Gold Zeo (Either Trey or Jason) 4. Phantom Ranger (And they could have finally revealed who he was!) 5. Magna Defender I totally agree with this being the 25th anniversary and it being shown in prime time this could have easily been an hour long and they had plenty of material to work with. Hopefully with the 30th we'll get an hour long special or maybe even a movie crossover like sentai gets every year.

The way they described the interactions with the Legacy Rangers (like how they were all in communication and already working together to fight Lord Dravon) felt like it was the building blocks of a season that could be like Power Rangers Hexagon (which sadly never came to fruition).

Definitely would have benefited from being longer, since the beginning especially was a lot more tell than show. It would have added a lot more to Draven's character and build up to show how powerful he was by actually being able to best veteran rangers and capture them. As for 5 more rangers, obviously the Ninja Storm (or Alien) Rangers. They missed an opportunity in Dino Charge (there was sentai footage for it) to have all the dino rangers come together, so why not do it for all the ninja rangers?

Andre can I like this video a thousand times? You are always awesome in your videos. I was so enthralled in this that I didn’t get out of my recliner (yes I am old lol). My son watched it with me and we were like in awe. I do agree that it should be longer. They did do a great job with the time they had . I bet they have it as as an extended edition on the dvd (then Netflix). This should be how they do the future episodes of super ninja steel for the remainder of season. always enjoy your sense of humor and your personality.

Something Funny No. Tommy never appeared in Jungle Fury. The Jungle Fury purple ranger was the guy that the rangers worked for at the Ninja Pizza place that acted chill most of the time. I forget his name, but I'm pretty sure that he ran a pizzeria when the rangers weren't fighting bad guys.

Don't really get your analogy about Family Matters and Power Rangers, since Family Matters was about Urkel and the Winslows. Power Rangers is not all about Tommy, so there's a clear distinction. Yes, Tommy is an important part of the franchise, but I feel like they could've done with less of Tommy in this episode. To me, it felt like they made this episode, specifically, to tease Soul of the Dragon (Tommy''s kid is named JJ, which is the name of the kid in Soul of the Dragon), which is yet another Tommy-centric storyline.

Family Matters was initially not about Urkel at all, he was just a one-off character that was super popular and as a result was upgraded into a supporting cast member. His popularity then caused him to consume the whole show. So he is in fact very comparable to Tommy.

Not really, since Tommy was part of the main cast when he first appeared, and he only got popular because of him being Green Ranger (especially evil Green Ranger). Also, Tommy didn't "consume the whole show". Every season doesn't try to mention or pander to everything about Tommy Oliver. When he left after Turbo, the show still went on without him and in most cases got even better for it. His only appearances afterwards was the anniversary team-ups, and Dino Thunder, with really only Forever Red and Dino Thunder actually using Tommy the right way. Yes, Forever Red also seem to pander to Tommy, but that was mostly wrote as a "joke" for the characters, because after Cole mentions that he's the greatest Ranger, the others laugh it off. Legendary Battle, even though there's no actual focus fully on Tommy scene-wise, still goes out of its way for the Megaforce Rangers to only acknowledge that they're speaking to him when the Legendary Rangers show up, despite there being no excuse for them not to know the other Rangers and acknowledge them (other than as a grouped team), when they have their unexplained "Ranger database" that they used. This latest one spoke for itself. So the point is, Urkel became a main cast member as the show went on, and got stories focused on him as the show went on. Tommy was a main cast member from the beginning (maybe not during Green with Evil, but it was already planned that he was going to be after the mini-series, that wasn't something done "after popularity" like Urkel), and he got stories focused on him until his tenure was done, and then the show itself largely went on without him. So, no, it's not really comparable.

GalaxyRed it’s somewhat comparable. I can see where you’re coming from, but Tommy is totally the focus after Green With Evil mini saga. And it’s ridiculous how much bigger he’s gotten since. Urkel is similar because when anyone mentions Family Matters it’s Urkel they remember first. It’s not exactly the same but they are both icons of the respective shows who in a way stole the spotlight from the rest of their peers.

I knew nothing about Ninja Steel but was still able to enjoy the episode. I don't remember Power Rangers being so heavy on exposition though. The episode was fun and light, loved the appearances. I was hoping for a little more but I feel the comic is giving me a good Power Rangers fix. Now how about that Duck Tales finale? I thought you'd be all over that! It was so good!
