When you start a race (depending on the car) let go of the acceleration on 1 so the needle turns blue and you get a perfect start. And since you're getting close to heat 2, use speedbreaker when going through roadblocks because they increase your car mass and you can plow through blocks with ease. Can't wait to see the series continue, Theo! :)

I did have a lot of trouble with using Baron's Cayman. It wasn't slow (in fact it was damn fast), but it indeed was because of Earl's rubberbanding tendencies. Second playthrough I beat him with a Junkman Clio, but it was still pretty hard.

You really like this game, second episode in a row. In Need for Speed 2015, cops can stay in pursuit after event, but not every time, like in here. Oh, and your garage can fit 25 cars. 10 bought, 15 won. To collect all cars, turn autosave off, so you could redo blacklist races. Don't forget to save before blacklist races.

You can get a better start if you keep the revs within the blue. The needle turns blue so that's your indication that it's a "perfect start".

Tips: Hitting a cop at the sides (where the back wheels of their cars are) is the easiest way to destroy their cars. Use speedbreaker to give yourself time when hitting a roadblock. Some roadblocks have some space just enough to fit through without hitting the cars. While starting a race, it's best to use a quarter of your nitro so you will start fast and get away from the other racers.

am i the only one who really likes the glamour glow look on the animations/cutscenes? I think there's too much fake hype around the whole "gotta make it look as real and crisp as possible" that developers just forget about what worked back in the day. Imagine if we had a similar filter and real cutscenes in Rivals, the story would have felt so much cooler. NFS 2015 had too much cringy acting. Every scene just screamed "LOOK HOW I GOT MY PAYCHECK" from the characters and it ruined the story for me.
