Playing with Fire after Lovesick Girls is my next favorite Blackpink song. Rose kills it with her voice, and it's another one of those sad/emotional but upbeat bops that I enjoy a lot. Boombayah is still 1 of their best songs to this day and is the highest viewed kpop debut song of all time. It'll never get old and is still a banger

There is a whole back story and mythology to Whistle. The girls hacked the game controller to include the fans into their career. Jennie's Bridge part in whistle is unmatchable, she has such a villain like atmosphere but she's cute at the same time, she has a strong, remarkable voice that fits any beat and those qualities of Jennie made her stand out. The versatility of her voice is underrated if we're being honest... I've saw some random reaction videos of blackpink and they complimented Rosé's angelic voice, Lisa's Rap, and Jisoo's remarkable voice, but they never noticed Jennie's versatility. It's not "green screen", but either back or front projection on a backdrop, for Boombayah, and almost every other M/V. There is a tiny bit in Whistle, with the globe for Shutdown being done the same way, and a bit where Jisoo is hanging in space - those are about the only times it's been used. They do sometimes use post production to do things like change eye colour (Jennie's chess-board scene) or add things like the flames in the corridor in Whistle, but even that is very, vary rarely used.

It is good you picked a favorite song amongst all MV, but mark my words, when you hear the B side songs, your favorites will change again. IMO there are some really good B side songs, at least one on every album. YG only makes MV for 2 or 3 songs per album, and if you must know, I like 98% of the songs. I will say I do not care for Bet you wanna, but if it is playing, I will sing along and even this song, which i do not care for is still crazy good. Playing With Fire story line, fun facts, that guy is Lauren, a guitarist which Rose' plays a couple covers with on her YT Channel. There is nothing going on between them from what they say, so don't stress too much. But I like your take on the MV, I never seen the ending the way you mentioned it, so it is very interesting
