You are rocking these re-actions to BlackPink , took all of us time to get to know them. Rose and Jisoo ( our song birds) can often times be told apart by the tones in their voices( I listen more often then I watch) Jisoo has this slightly smokey tone( some say husky, but that makes her voice sound far heavier then it is), when she has this amazing power and range levels. Rose has an utterly unique tone that gives you shivers when you hear her. I likened it to a cross between county and rock- stunning girl next door. It just reaches into you and commands attention. These two carry the core of the songs And Jennie and Lisa come in for the kill( and kill they do). I love that they also tend to get along very well with one another, no back bitting, nor do we hear of any in house petty jealousies that tend to plague big groups causing break up. They all do solo work( do yourself a favor and watch each ones, Jisoo stepped out into acting and did marvelously, while the others did solo songs, our lovely Lisa even has some dance video( to other artists songs), if you feel brave enough to give it a try. But perhaps you should start out with watching a video about the group. I know there are many guides and such. But very few tell their story of having to leave their families in their formative years to start training to be idols. So very much work goes into it all. Sorry so long, but we do enjoy BlackPink and many other k-pop idols. Thank you for taking the time to join in the fun.

Jisoo has literally the shortest range out of them all. Like, she's on pair with Lisa. 'Power' is also not really the word for her voice. Jisoo has a husky, calm tone, she's very breathy and calm. Her voice is a ballad itself. She has a good technique and she can harmonize pretty well because her voice can blend in nicely since it's kind of transparent but still present. I agree with everything else but you literally named two things that are her weakest points and it just doesn't complement her..

Have you done Rose's solo track "On The Ground" yet? Once you hear her on her own, I don't think you'll ever get her confused again, her and Jisoo both have very distinct vocals, different, yet complimentary to each other.

Rose has a twang to her voice. She could sing American country. Jisoo has a smoother voice, smokey. She could sing jazz. Rose's face is a bit thin, tall. Jisoo's face is rounder. And yes, watch theTokyo Dome remix encore of this song. Music videos combine high end production and editing to the point it's hard to know what is talent and what is artifice. Watching the four of them in tee shirts and no choreography singing live completely captivate 50,000 people- 4 true super stars.

Dude, you made me subscribe. Great reactions. Now that you're a "K-pop fan" you may want to check out (G)i-dle, another smaller group of super talented ladies. With fewer members (4 or 5), like BlackPink, they are a little easier to get into quickly and learn the girls names and talents. Good starting point could be "Lion" or "Oh My God." Those two are epic and a bit deeper and darker than most K-pop.

Now that Rosé is more consistently blonde, it’s easier to know who they are. I was also initially confused when I first watched this video, confusing Jisoo and Rosé a lot, but I got to know their distinctive voices pretty soon. You really get a feel for Rosé on her solo song ON THE GROUND. You’ll never confuse them again. Props for learning their names so quickly!

Don't worry, all of us start spotting them with time, at first they seem so alike for us, because we're used to our Western faces. Patience is the key. Edit: Their voices are another key, they have different pitches and voice colors. Rosé's is the prettiest one (she's my bias, but it's SCIENCE, her voice is angelic), Jennie and Lisa's are pretty but with a bit of swag (even when singing, that's how swaggy they are), and Jisoo's is the deepest, more stable voice in the group.

haha definitely getting Jisoo and Rose mixed up but that's okay. Pro tips, Jisoo almost always has dark hair either very dark brown, black, or dark purple and Rose will have lighter hair typically. Also Rose has the higher, more angelic voice and Jisoo has more deep soulful voice. Both are amazing though!
