Mel I'm sorry, I have to disagree. ARMY fandom's weakness are a big amount of opinionated, loud, and/or childish fans. I think we're justified in saying this, since ARMY get crap for anything. It's not a lie that when another fandom does something, it isn't blown up so much. I'm saying this in the most respectful way I can that you're not in our shoes, being the most hated Kpop fandom. We are, check nearly any site- it's common knowledge. Many non BTS fans have something to complain about involving BTS fans or BTS themselves all the time. It's frustrating. BTS is a group where many are watching their actions and fandom like a hawk waiting for them to do something wrong. Waiting for BTS or an ARMY to mess up so they can say something or add it to their list of 'why armys are the most terrible thing.' People act like ARMYs are a freaking plague. Ridiculed so often. Even though every fandom has its bad eggs, it's the one I happen to be in that is known as the worst one by tons of people. It gets to you, if I'm being honest. I feel victimized by definition, singled out for unjust treatment. It's even a thing for antis to act out under fake accounts to stir conflict. I see what you mean about pointing the finger and not owning up to things ARMY did...I've seen ARMY say bad and immature things. It's mean and of course it's not right. The difference is that others let those ones represent all of ARMY. It's not fair that (from what I can see) it represents the whole fandom in non fan's eyes. Some fans did research, turns out the video was an ordinary porn video, they found the original...so an anti fan had added the audio of saying the member's name on top of the original audio before it was tweeted...yet ARMY was blamed. There's a lot more than that incident.. point was that I sure do feel like a victim, being blamed for many things so often. I don't want the bad fans acting out in the fandom and neither does any other level headed fan.. but this is ARMY- we're automatically problematic and immature to all of Kpop fandoms, they say. 🙁 shoot I really didn't mean to write this much. In this case its "BLACKPINK being influenced by BTS". This is wrong because Playing With Fire was produced long before BST was released, so influenced is not the right word to use. They could have used "is similar to" or "has the same kind of sound". But influenced implies that BST did it first and Teddy, the producer, got his inspiration from BTS which is an insult to Teddy who always followed his own creative path. Also the little things in the MV itself, that you mentioned seemed similar to BTS has been done before, mainly by YG artists. Look, I'm not telling you guys to delete your channel/video or anything. Just understand the backlash and be careful the next time you mention other groups ok 😂 I mean you can still be like "fuckit" and post it but don't be surprised if people disagree.

their in-house producer is TEDDY PARK we're talking about here. PLUS, a yg stan would know that blackpink already recorded 8 songs in 2014-2015 (pwf included) so uh-uh, they're not bts influenced. both groups just happened to be using similar techniques such as synth lead, and their songs have a very unique chord progression, and that's all. but this was three years ago these guys were probably not know much into the background of kpop back then so I can see why they said that.
