YG groups characteristics are: great rappers/swagg, unique voices, great live performances and release few songs prioritizing quality over quantity (this one annoyed so much to their fans, like me xD)

Blackpink (and kpop groups in general) always perform with a backtrack, but the backtrack is low and it's there just in some parts to help them breath in some parts of the performance. When they perform without choreography, slow songs, there's no backtrack. *I actually prefer when they perform with no choreography, their stage presence is insane - watch the Ddu-Du Ddu-du Remix in Tokyo Dome 2020 so you can feel that

They sing live but have a backing track. If you listen carefully you can hear an occasional off note or vocal flutter. And Lisa is "the dancer" who many (but not all) consider to be the top female dancer in kpop. She has her own dance channel Lilifilms.

you know this by now, but they don't lip sync, they even train singing while on treatmills (which is because they sing and dance at the same time, so their breathwork has to be on point). there are a couple of videos where jisoo or rosé for example took over some rap parts from jennie and lisa for fun, and you can hear them laugh. their mics are always on. they are all 4 very disciplinated and talented.

if according to my knowledge about kpop idols, they rarely lipsync when they're performing live.. maybe because they have gone through a long training period, and also in Korea if you want to become a kpop idol then you have to go through a training period so that when you debut, you have good qualities in all things such as singing, dancing, and rapping.🤗💜
