Man, i feel old reading these comments that just knew about Teddy and his brilliannces. For me, he is THE ultimate kpop in houseproducer compared to the others like Kenzie, Hitman Bang before HYPE or S tiger, he is the one (with GD) who transformed YG's music and the landscape of music/sounds in SK's music indurstry, they made kpop's music evolved. You can hear from YG's 2009 sounds and a decade later that they have this familiar western style music and feeling in their kpop songs that they produced without denying it's indeed a kpop song, they blend it so soo well.

one of the things i like about blackpink is i manage to see four different vibes by watching only one group (sounds economical! XD)... in other groups, especially those from us asian world, producers usually strive to make the members appear identical like soldiers - dressed in the same uniform all the time, speak and sing in similar intonation and accent, hairstyle and makeup are all the same... if i need that kind of 'harmony' why not i listen to choirs? blackpink is doomed to be a success because in the first place the four of them are so different!

Hey, Teddy is 44 years old. He actually debuted as 20 years old in YG's hip hop group 1tym as their leader and that's when he also started writing and producing. Except BP he used to work with BIGBANG too and co-produced their biggest hits with G-Dragon. Worth to check it out 😊
