After listening to their songs and getting to know their vocals a bit more this would be my ranking tell me if you disagree: Rose- widest range and has a beautiful tone and uses a good technique Jisoo- I’ve heard some songs where she used her deep voice and it sounds amazing. She’s the second best vocalist in the group imo 3- third goes to Jennie, she balances the first 2 with her vocals and has a nice full voice 4- Lisa she rarely sings but when she does she keeps it safe but for a rapper she has a sweet voice and can defo handle more lines.

hii! yeah, so airy means that in that note, the singer pushes a lot of air. if we’re talking about airy in low notes, i assume since you read my description, it means Rosé may struggle more to reach the low notes. they’re airy which means she doesn’t project her low notes: lacking volume and sound weak. You can compare Rosé’s E3 with Jisoo’s in the video and tell the difference in the amount of air. Rosé’s E3 was almost inaudible whereas Jisoo’s sounded full (not airy).

Sure! Exclamations are like ‘screams’ or notes that aren’t exactly sung, but they hit it anyway. They don’t count in someone’s vocal range. Octave unison are harmonies done in a lower/higher octave of the same note. For example, Jisoo was hitting an F4, but the harmonies she did behind the note was an F3 (the same note but in a different octave). Hope this helped!

Also Jisoo is a lower voice type - mezzo soprano so OFC she can't belt high as Jennie or Rosé, or not a lot at least. And u just said she has no breath control, but gave her points for stability. BREATH CONTROL IS STABILITY. Her voice is the most stable which is the same as not running out of breath... like.. make up ur mind. Also go and see Don't Know What To Do The Show, and you'll see if she has stability or not. She even added higher falsettos at her part and nailed it.

And widest range doesn't mean her vocal techniques are great...Irene has the widest range but she has not support...On the other hand Joy's vocal range is not that much wide but she is supported so technically Joy is better... So support is the most important thing for a Vocalist....Which Jisoo has not...Rosie and Jennie has..

Hmm, if I'm being honest Jennie's voice type is kind of confusing. But I understand where you're coming from, her comfort in lows and her 'shouty' belts may make her sound like a mezzo. Her earlier days her tone was super light (AIIYL), very soprano-like but somehow it darkened over time. So (imo) she may have just developed a darker tone and comfort for lower notes. But feel free to disagree, I don't mind a discussion.
