Y'know this does feel like an appropriate place to end Alex and Steve Adventures with the Herobrine stuff. The only two 'Villains' you could bring back are the Wither kid and the guy that was ruling the End islands for a bit, but he wasn't really built up or at least I don't remember him being that big of an issue and if anything that feels more like a problem for the Dragon and farmgirl to handle. The only thing outside of that is what I'm calling the New Angel of Death. and it doesn't seem like he's gonna try all that hard to be blatantly evil.

as far as we know, Herobrine and Steve are the same entity. The finale ties the original animations in with the same characters and the big cube thing, so its safe to assume that Animation life is canon in this universe. That means Steve and Herobrine are the exact same.

I believe the shadow was Herobrine since Null has black whisps, it makes for a better narrative of his character always being tied to Steve. I believe Herobrine is gone but not entirely, which could open up to more possibilities and potential for the series sometime down the road.

Man, what a way to end it! The animation, the fights, they were all spectacular! SPOILER WARNING: I also couldn’t help but tear up a little when they started showing flashbacks of all the times Steve had helped them. And I like how we get to see Eric’s backstory and how he ended up with his wither curse. It would’ve been nice to see him get redeemed at the end, but he did take down Baroness (rather grimly I might add) and he decided not to get revenge on Steve, so maybe that’s a start. It also looks like Herobrine needs Steve to survive and so he ended up merging with him again, so maybe we haven’t seen the last of him?The only complaint is that, once again, everything still goes by pretty fast and it feels like it ends too quickly even when it’s over 15 minutes long, but it almost didn’t matter this time. It wrapped up everything nicely while still leaving room for some speculation and possible continuation. It started off strong, and it finished strong. 9/10
