i can t understand why i can t find the weight of this rod anywhere in the web. Such a crucial technical information should be published to help trust and sales. looks like nice british new brand in the international market .

Are conti rods with the power tips stil ok to use with mono at maybe 30lb

I use 30 or 40lb straight through on mine, I could probably get another few yards on the cast with lighter line and leader but the rod will work fine. Still get 120-150 yards out with it
