I love this man! I have been saying this every day; we are basically slow to react to our stimuli. That is why a white person or Chinese will come to Ghana with 20ghc with no family land and become a millionaire while a university educated Ghanaian will go and beg him/her for a JOB!No risk taking, accepting all things with no questions like Christianity.

We have been blessed with the sun and never been capable of activating our pineal- gland. Just as Mr Asamoah has been saying, the deficiency, if it is one, is due to the default state in our natural making. The fact remains why should this be a deficit? Because the human race is so diverse, we could compare ourselves with other similar creation a little different from us. But truly we are different.

Look, these guys have good messages for Ghanaians. The religions have been with us for 100s of years. Still Ghana is suffering. We need a virtuous society. We are playing a game where whatever your efforts, only one person can win. Is that fair? There is a town called Nogales. It’s divided by fence into 2. One half is in Mexico and the other is in USA. The same ancestors with the same culture. Those in US are healthier, peaceful and earn 3times more than those at the other half in Mexico. Why? Answer: virtuous societies. The game is not fixed. USA have its own problems but the good people are determined to fix it. Everything is a work in progress. There is always a better way of doing something. In Ghana, there are three institutions that make up our the leadership: politicians who form the ruling government; traditional leaders who are the custodians of the land and the church. Now, this is where the problems lie: the politicians on both sides are liars. The traditional leaders are selling the same piece of land to multiple buyers thereby creating conflicts. And the church is in the business of extortions. I explained these to a group of 10s year old black children in London and their reactions were spontaneous: uncle, our black leaders are bad. Yes! They are right. We have the opportunity to change, now. I love Ghana but with all due respect, these 3 institutions that make up our leadership must change for better.

This gentleman is ignorant, he doesn't seems to know why development happens. Development is not about smartness or skin colour but need. Naturally the black people are not problem solvers, because we don't seem to have any problems. He's also ignorant about the dynamic that influence slavery and colonialism. European or Caucasian are individualistic and we're tribal, this always affect development. I wish I can meet this gentleman.

EDWARD Gyasi . Why is he ignorant. The British colonised half of the world including America and Canada. Most of the colonies have improved and got better than Britain. Yet , Africans are still in the bottom of the pit. There’re so many blacks who have invented things while the whites have claimed ownership of them and made millions to enriched themselves while those blacks couldn’t challenged and died poor including even music. So why is he ignorant? Ghana has so many mineral resources. Despite with our universities we still don’t have researchers and industries that could manufacture anything. Always selling raw materials for others to make use of them to sell them back to us in an exuberant and high prices . Our students go outside and do brilliant there. But home is zero. He’s saying something you and I will dare not. This is a wake up call to our leaders.

Answer this question for me. How was colonialism allowed take off? You make colonialism sound like a natural event like a meteorite that took out the dinosaurs. Was it not the natural stupidity of our past traditional leaders that made colonialism possible? Colonialism was a human event between two different humans. One was more intelligent than the other and hence successful an achieving their goals. If im Wrong go a challenge an 8 Year old to a math quiz and you’ll see you can do whatever you want intellectually with them.

@@lifeandbeyond7279 There are certain traits that are passed on as a reward for effective genetic expression. Cold weather climates require increased level of cooperation and strong executive functions. Planning , organizing, creative problem solving all requires a level of cognitive ability that is not ubiquitously rewarded in the evolutionary history of mankind. Not to say it isn’t possible that the smartest person in the world is a black single mother on Liberia, but generally speaking certain genetic expressions are more common in certain regions. It may sound racist but I haven’t read anything of value that would contradict it. Not all humans are the same anywhere. But we all deserve the same level of respect and consideration.
